ok in this game you start off on an island and you have to get resources and such , make an army , pillage other colonies and plant your own colonies
each island has a timber yeard , u'll see it if you press "show island" and it has either a marble mine ( to make high lvl buildings ), sulphur pit (soliders), wine (raise happiness of the village so more population everyday) and crystal mine (research)

first of all build and acadamy and research "Economy" till you get wealth otherwise you cant get your islands special resource ( marble , sulphur e.t.c)
then build barracks and make 5 slingers to protect you from twats that attack noobs then lvl your town centre so more people come to your town
the more population , the more money your town will get
