MeriToRious 2.3 = Village Server = Banned??

this is wot i got from village forums b4 it all got deleted if u can make sence if it highlighte main bits to save time.

Village Server Closing !!!
The server will be closeing for 2 reasons, one being my wife`s waters breaking meaning she will be having the baby within the next 72 hours, as we already have an 18 month old daughter i will need to help her out as much as possible and will have no time at all for the server.
Secondly the dedicated host is due to run out tomorrow and i simply cannot afford to pay for this myself, babys cost alot of money and i`m skint.
So the server will go offline tomorrow, not sure what time but it will be as soon as the dedicated host terminates.
I doubt this will be the end of the Village Server, if all goes well and i get set into a routine and have plenty of time i will put back online.
Thanks to all that played this server and my apolagise for the inconvienience and i hope you can understand why i have to close the server.

so basically, he was just after money for his baby... we all heard abotu the £500 he conned off some1, and he cant afford to pay a dedi? funny.

"jayz reply was this" If its to stay up i would need to pay for the dedicated host today, its doesn`t all boil to money, my wife needs the space in the bedroom where my PC is, which means i`ll only have the laptop to work off and my wife uses that alot aswell for her work which would mean less time for the server alone nevermind the fact i`ll have 2 children to look after.
As for somebody else taking over the server this would be a no as i have put to many man hours into it just to give away.
I would rather close, well atleast for the time being.

Leveling can`t be that much of a problem as there was level 280+ when this server was the Village and ran by JayZ, bearing in mind that server was online for 4 months like, .

So hes clearly admitin its Village server files, jayz said he'd never give files away... jayz was obsessed with spamin OS thread, Elise does exactly the same, they both talk same etc..

MeriToRious = Village

Humm. Ive just lost access >.< maybe it was today the dedi ran out....Oh well !!!

Now Transporter (jayz bro) and puremc are same as every1 else and their guild not that big, they lost sw. Then next thing Transporter and pure mc have full donation kits which seems weird as after adding it up its well over £100, y hell would someone donate that much to the gm that they know to get better kits??? So now they can pk every1 on server which up till now it was them losing the fights.
Also to me i think now ppl will donate so they stand more of a chance againest them. which means gm starts getting the cash rolling in. now they have all this kit wooo they get sw bk ><.
i just hope ppl dont b fooled and donate.
find this very sad that ppl can go this far to con money out of ppl and i also read he using ppl's id's for theying to hack other stuff they play so i wud just advize ppl to b careful

makin a server, connin ppl for donations, bein corrupt ingame, probably hostin the server off his home PC as usual, and usin ID/pass's to try hack other ppl on different servers

very sad, should be looked into.

last i saw village was banned from lomcn, so surely this server should be 2.

i honestly havnt rly cared.. but if hes gonna start all this **** up once agian, after Robert nicely dealt with it... its just so annoyin. i cba with all the hassel agian.

The whole donation kit thing happend on village.. some of JayZ's friends got it.. pwned up server.. more people donated,then without kit you sucked(or it was like that when i played it)

Just to prove a few facts, im pretty sure im correct.

Meritorious is Village, but with alot more updates + the person who is running the server is neither Jayz nor Jayz Wife.

Your so obsessed with Jayz, that you decide to register to d4ydie forums, and register on his mir2 server? fook thats sad.

The person who is running Meritorious is not related to Jayz.

You say that supposnly its 'Jayz' and he's using the server for donations, not once have i seen the new owner ask anyone to donate, if a person chooses to donate its upto them.

When you say 'Jayz is using the ID & Passwords to hack other servers'
When Jay was hacked on village he used to the same ID & Pass in which he used on your server therefore the hacking must of been down to you?

End of the day, nobody said it wasn't Village and im suprised you have just figured that out.

I wouldn't trust fubus word.

However i know a few myself who have been given things. Nothing to damage the server. You have to pay to damage the server. Oh i mean 'donate' not pay...

Meri is a joke.
OS is getting that way.

However on topic, if meri is banned from LOMCN then OS should be too.
If you want rules, rules apply to everyone.

Fubu has never been kitted up by Ben, if he had of been I would of knew about it. Oh and don't bother saying I'm defending Ben because the fact is I'm not, we don't get on.. I'm just calling you on your bullshit.

Anyway as for MeriToRious, its clearly ran by JayZ or DayDie. The server may not be fronted by them, but I think its quite clear to see they have a part to play in this. It started with EvilMir, updated to Village then updated to MeriToRious. Surely with the files exchanging hands between 3 people the style of updates would differ. Everyone is creative in their own way hence why basically every new server you play has a different style or feel to it, Where as all 3 versions of this have been basically the same thing.

Anyway I could go on all day about it but its really not worth it.

elise has been givin me grief over oldskool, so i give it back, dont see the problem

personally, id say its rather different. all money made via donation goes towards the upkeep and improvements to server, theres plenty of things planned for the future
OS has proved to be a long runnin server, it has been up for 7-8months now (the advert was made 6months ago, however was deleted cause of spam and remade, 7months has been paid on dedi servers tho.)

i have no record of puttin up countless servers gainin donations, then closin them for bull**** reasons, ive said it from the start, as long as the dedi is paid for, OS will always be online unless the user were to drop to something pointless like 10, so OS wont be goin ne where for some time. and like i said, there are plans for other stuff, which i wont be reveleaing.

goin by that, id say me and my server, are totaly different to jayz and village, also im not the only advertised server that has donations, so plz dont single me out, if u look at the 'LOMCN APPROVED' servers, these are meant to be the godly best of the best ****, all have donation systems, especially mir3.
so yes, if it was 1 rule for all, that means there would be VERY little servers advertised, i can think of a few off the top of my head, all have around 5-15 user count, wow.. wouldnt mir be a happy place!
so try lay off oldskool for once, and keep on topic of meritorious...

we're talkin about con servers, out to steal ppls money, to gain a quick buck...

My server may have a low player count but thats usually down to lazy lvlers that want every item ingame from hitting a hen.

The thing i think should happen is that LOMCN should enforce the "Approved server" section, what matters is the stability of a server. Like i mentioned before, my server's been online for 2-3 years now and if that doesn't prove i'm not in it for some quick cash then you must be on something as to me that shows quite alot of dedication.

The thing that also brings my piss to a boil is servers like TnT stealing files off of other servers. Now theres items n things that are what i call "universal" item images or w/e that you'd see on nearly every server online atm, but the custom ones that get taken, then used on some crappy server and all YOUR hard work gets used as part of some tw@s scam to get cash off of people... thats just wrong.

Going on that last paragraph, it leaves me with the fact that i have been creating "Project UBER Patch" for about a year n a half now and was going to be releasing it sometime last year, i then rescheduled it for this year but then decided that i wouldn't as there's a lack of file encrytion *which is going to be sorted once i translate the package i got off some chinese person* and the uprising of idiots that scam people of their money.

MeriT will close sooner or later, the donations will go with it. This forum will ban the user and server from advertising.

In a couple of months time a new user will appear, who acts very much like Daydie/Jayz (but people believe isn't as they say they aren't) and open a new server based on the same files.
