Drivers... Driving me mad

Someone help me before I go crazy.

Reformatted my laptop back to Vista, downloaded all drivers on the ASUS website... still have 1 Unknown Device, see screen shot.

Now some websites I go to and check the VEN and Dev, just say its from ATI Technologies...

I have the G Card driver installed, done it twice!!

Driving me insane.

PCI drivers! Check you have those ¬_¬


Failing that run windows update untill it downloads them

Meh no download for PCI drivers on the ASUS website tho :S

don't look at Parent. Look at Hardware Ids...
should be the 2nd one from the drop down list.
parent means what it's connected to.

Have you installed chipset drivers?

Install CPU-Z find out your board and install the chipset, then hay presto your working again fully.

Funny isnt it.

I work in IT, and at work I have no problems at all when building pcs, or fixing issues.

But at home, I have constant problems :@

It's always the same mate, was avin this conversation wtih some work mates yesterday.

We can fix them all day long for a client, but when it comes to our own we get stumped.

Company called Intraining.

Basically a training company with different offices al around the country, and field staff based from scotland, down to Devon that we have to offer IT Support to.

Seems so easy at work, but as you say, at home just seem to get stumped lol.
