just get a cheap 1.2 litre of so m8. Any powerful more expensive car will cost you a bomb and the excess you will have to pay on insurance if you crash will be stupidly high. I started off with a 1.2 clio lol, moved into a pug 206, then a civic type r. Now i own a lotus exige and it's the only one i havn't had a crash in lol (touch wood), people like hitting me!
and whoever said they are getting an R6 not a bad bike
just known to be a chavy bike as a lot of the common road thugs ride on them, around my area anyway. I used to have a Suzuki GSXR 20th anniversary edition,ripped my arms off. Stopped riding bikes now though i got put off them for life.

some of the cars u lot say make me laff lol alot of ya nt got a clue
my 1st car was a 1.4 astra,was crap (£100, 800 insurance)
then got a 1.6 16v fiat bravo 100, probly best car iv had, was fun to drive, nippy (fastest iv had tbh on accelleration n did 130 flat out) n handling was mega (£250. 1200 insurance)
then sisters bf crashed it for me, got a 306 1.9 diesel as a run about - i advise any1 not to buy 1 theyre well **** lol blew up in 2 month n for some reason my insurance was 2k for the year but didnt hav for long so it ok
now got a ford mondeo 2.0 zetec turbo diesel, cost me 1200 and insurance is 1700, nice car to drive really
not bad for a years drivin really lol
overall i prefered the bravo to all the cars iv had or ever driven (except a smart car, mum used to have one theyre ace to drive lol like a go-kart well fun) n the bravo is cheap enough and cheap enough insurance for a first car tbh

ouch that's a lot to pay. I would search around that's way to much to bother paying. I'm 24 driving an exige that cost 20k and i'm paying £750 a year insurance..So your paying £1700 insurance on a MONDEO yet telling us we dont have a clue what we are talking about?
And was paying £2000 for a pug 306...
The guy wants a cheap car... We listed some cheap cars.
1.2 clio, 1.2 corsa, 1.2 106, ect ect.
£400 car, £900 insurance. Sorted.
My car is a 2.0 FSI Mk5 Golf, and I pay £800 a year, fully comp.
Should come down in August, as I get my 4th year NCB

yeah they are fun, corner like nothing iv experienced, but for long journeys you get an ass ache and back ache.

19 xanan, n insurance is a ***** dunno y it was that much for 306 was cheapest i cud find n knew i wudnt be payin the full ammount cos wudnt hav it long. iv never payed the full ammount on any of the insurances cos not had the cars long enuf lol get bored.
n i wasnt on bwt evry1 skyline, but i wudnt advise a corsa or a punto to any1, ye they cheap to buy n insure but u end up paying up more on fixin them every 2 mins. my m8s stuck in finance on a punto n wishes he never bought it, only a year left of it now tho lol

p.s. u can get engine sizes over 1.2 with same insurance groups as under 1.2's lol y not get an rx7, its only a 1.3 engine :P

Corsa's are your best bet, if your not a total idiot it will last you, few of my mates have had punto's and i remember them just kept getting into crap with them spending a lot money to fix, one ended up written his off cos somthing messed up while he was going down the moss at night, (proper bad crash lol). Am not driving yet so i can't give a really vail answer but from my mates the corsa's seem to be the best first car.
