nor has he shown he can be a commited reliable host... his 1st server has gone down within a month, which will make most belive that his new server will do exactly same, only difference is his 2nd server is gonna be a low rate, which is a lot harder than a high rate to sorta "get into the game"...

he should just stick to high rates till he proves himself as a host and server maker.

prove? wats to prove tbh he dident exactly make crusade just converted n added edited few bits n he dident convert it was glenn n booth ,

well it appeared he was the 1 in control, whenever u spoke to a GM.. "only dirtbag can do it he owns the files not me" etc.

probably makes it worse that he didnt even make the server, nor convert... shows he has even less skills that ppl may have 1st thought

he was the host, it was hosted on his laptop... and he was responsible for transferin it to spencer, and now givin to his friend


like i said, ppl servers from word of mouth.... i belive OS gained such a huge usercount because of how well known i am, from the amount of ppl i know in mir, the word got spread easily and fast.

majority of low rates only get a low user because they are never done proprely, they never get enough time, care and effort spent on them, they are just euro clones with a few new caves/items... that takes litterly a day to add.
Not only that but they dont have the reliablity as i was saying, if the host is a nobody, ppl dont wanna put in the effort

look at USA mir... they know its an offical company, they know loads of time has been spent on it, all the quests are done profesionaly and properly.. they know if they spend a month geeky lvlin 17hrs a day their effort wont go to waste....... ud never do that on a server cause they are so unreliable.

all he was doing was bringing it back with some extra's

but now his decided to start from scratch and pass
crusade onto someone else for the sake of the
people that play it and enjoy it.

well we'll just have to w8 and see wont we, but startin a server from scratch...... and workin off a server base (Even if its euro as a bsae) are 2 totaly different levels of things, from scratch takes a hell of a lot longer

just out of interest why do you have bandet 2.6 in your advertar when i havent even said when i will be releasing this server. plus i am still sorting the server for low rate.

High rate servers take up alot more time than low rates do.
If you don't get the server made in advance then you will be rushed off your feet as Tom27 said in a further post.

Whereas lowrates if you spend enough time on one section of the server (Which he has mentioned)

Then as long as you vary the way you use each cave, keep them different with magics etc + each cave will have different meanings to be used.

E.G

BDD - Hunting (Taking example of euro caves)
PT/PC - Leveling + Hunting + Cash

etc etc..
I would say as long as Tom varies his use of caves + quests the server should come along like a carton of Oust.

Low rates dont take up all of your time to add an update which would last 1 week then you would need another huge update to be added.
It leaves you alot more time to think things through when you're adding things.
Overall I would say that LowRates are much easier to run.

Just started Legend, it's crashed 3 times in the space of 1 hour. Not much better

Temporary problem obviously. Hardly reflects the server as a whole. You've gotta expect some problems with 2.6 files, they are quite buggy after all.

Sorrry peeps been out most of the weekend due to private matters, Didnt realise the server was offline untill this morning when i signed into msn at my Girlfriends house. Servers is back up online IP 81.159.24.85 I will send the files to the new host once he contacts me.

he asked to use the bandet name on old 1.9 files as i am currently waiting on a decent set of 2.6 files to release a Bandet 2.6 server.

i was just a bit shocked to see bandet in his advertar.

yes he thought i ment use the name on all server's but was only 1.9. he has said he will rename the server he is making.
