But yeah, 6gb is overkill, downsize to 4 and get yourself Windows 7 RC 32-bit.

in reply to the guy earlier talkin crap about building a better spec machine with 8gb ram, and to above... i7 cpu 's use triple channel memory, i.e. multiples of three work best. hence his 6gb. 8gb on an i7 is stupid, as is the price he quoted, i built a rig at xmas a little lower spec than that and it ran me £1600...

Really that is a rip off.. the 30mins or less to build a pc and how simple it is.. i would say to the guy in the shop i wouldnt give him more than £25 to build it. But if your happy paying that you cant really complain i suppose. Just make sure you check all the parts in it are the exact ones you bought.. shops have a tendency to rip people off who dont know much.
