thats not the point, im not trying to grass anyone up, to get them infracted or anything, im merely trying to backup my arguement

personally, if i was a mod and lookin at that, as the server owner hasnt complained, id either delete the posts or leave it as it is.

if the server owner complained about spam, then delete it, probably warn iceman cause he started the spam, do a post sayin ne more off topic will be infracted, and if it carrys on go ahead and infract as they've had a clear warning



Way i see it, mods/admins/wotever just patrol the forums now and then and hand out a few infractions to show they are doing stuff, the forum is never fully moderated, if it was you'd see constnat warnings/infractions or cleanin of threads... not the odd infraction here and there

To be honest I actually agree with Ben here. Your being way to pathetic over these rules. You can turn around and say if you dont like it, do one... But at the end of the day were all (most of us) mature enough to back up our points with reasoning.

Sometimes, people don't like what they are hearing and start crying about it. Ben(Bon) and Tallos(Provectus) don't get on, and wont ever do. Even though that point hasn't got much relevance it might explain the purpose of why this thread was created.

My apologies, I made a poor choice in words/phrasing (other than rule number 2, that one's obvious), let's change my phrasing a bit; They are idiotic in the fact that they are commonly let slip, if they weren't, I know of at least 2 people that would be perm banned due to infractions by now (unless you need literally 50+ infractions?). My opinions are in red.

Maybe its not for a single admin, but they talk.. i know they talk as i saw it when i was a mod, we made posts, and admins and other mods contributed. Also CC, or send to multiple admins? Doesn't hurt to email 2 more users.

As for the whole mir3 section, you what? Since when was this mir2 community forums? Doesn't matter if its about these, or mir3 posts, its an issue to be posted in questions and complaints forum end of.

If your talking about 4heros i made that call to approve that server as its a run on of OS and ben told that to the player when the change happen.

So have you took it on yourself to re-write the rules so that servers can be Approved on the basis of "Roll on's" ?

Why was old school never Approved when it was open?

Now i dunno if u have something todo with DR server,but if needed i post copy the posts here,but there is about 5 mods that have said that they get the feel that DR server is out for donations. thats why the server hasnt gotta approve and it was aprroved befor and was asked to be removed.

DR was much less a donation based server than Old Skool was in many peoples opinions and at the end of the day DR is still open with a decent player count even though the donations dried up months ago. This kind of proves the fact that it is not a donation based server because Paul would have followed Ben and closed it, only to open up a new high rate donation based server, correct?

Congrats on not even reading the thread - I said several times that if people have constructive or at least valid feedback, they should be able to say it without the fear of an Infraction.

But what about when you make a good server and the advert is sabotaged by rival server owners and their players?

It does not take a rocket scientist to see that most negative comments on server adverts come from a certain server owner or people who play his server. Many of them have no actual intention of playing a different server but still feel the need to download it, have an hours play, look for faults then feel it is their duty to think for everyone else and tell them it's no good.

Can people no longer make up their own minds anymore? Or are certain people so arrogant that they feel they should decide what servers others will like and dislike?

If a player posts and says " tried server and it is not for me because I think mobs are too hard " then this is fair enough, but when they spam an advert because they don't like it and they don't want anyone else to play it, then that is just wrong in my opinion.

Offer constructive criticism then just leave it and move on! Just because someone does not like it, that does not mean someone else will like it.

Some people just need to grow up and live and let live..............................
