Well as ive got a graphics friend helping me, im just wondering if its possible to load items back into the files via hh8 after theyve been designed and converted back into bitmap images.

Or do they have to be put back in with new placements?
(No new buttons will be added and no old ones will be affected)
Just the boarders of E.G bags and around the chatbar will have new images added around them or recolours etc.

I did a test on the bag in Prguse.wil, but when I added the file back in the img changed into a full HP bar.
So I closed hh8 and tried again.
When I looked ingame my client kinda looked like this:



Any information on how to do this would be great, thanks.

You can make any changes you want to the interface images, as long as they are:

A) The same size as the original.
B) Go back into the .wil file in the same place.

A little tip i will give you is, design your new images over the top of the existing ones using Photoshop, this way you know you've got the dimensions right and you can see where borders start/end.

You've c0cked your wil up, all the images have shifted out of place.

If you don't know what you're doing be sure to make backups.

Yeah he used photoshop when doing it.
And ive now got a new fresh prguse.wil backed up so its cool :)

Also, when you turn the img back into bitmap, how do you get it looking back topnotch?
I tried putting it as 24-bit, but that was weird ingame, 256 has gone completely pixelated =/

Paint wont let me save it as 8 for some reason =/
Only 16 colour bitmap
256 colour bitmap
24-bit bitmap
Monocrome bitmap

=/

1 Thing i noticed, is when i ripped the bag image from hh8, and looked in paint it has saved as 256 colour bitmap for some reason.
When i re-add it back as 256 it goes completely pixelated =/

Is there any way to resave it as 8bit?

Ok, designers managed to save that as 8bit, thanks preacher.
Heres how it looks ingame at the moment:



Just the little black small thing on the bottom right of the bag, need to figure out a way to remove that witout chopping off half of the bag.
And the option menu looks a little pixelated with the image in the background.

the pixels you are talking about in the right side of your theme are made because all the pure black pixel (hex color 000000) are automatically turned invisible by the mir client.. so you will have to replace using photoshop all the 000000 colors to 000002 for example
