What do you work as?

Im bored and being nosey, so ill get this thread started.

I work as a Business Administrator, Training for Level 2 Business Admin NVQ

I also teach microsoft office to learners for a course this company also does.

I went from sponging off the goverment (job seekers) to this fine little job £5.80 ph, so yeh it proves even if your at your lowest in life, you can sort it out.:thumbup2:

Nothing anymore...after 3 years of bars and restaurants I got sick of it and finally left. So now I'm doing sod all and hating it. Don't have a clue what career path to take and I can't get an interview anywhere! Sucks to be me right now...

What exactly is a business administrator? All these titles mean nothing to me :/

I did Business Admin lvl2 and 3. Basically Administration work, but more advanced than a normal Admin NVQ.
Goes down the line of management, databases, IT, administration etc.

I work as an IT Systems Technician, thinking of moving into something different though, or staying in the IT side of things but for a different company with different ways of working.

Its the loop hole, Its hard to fall into something like what were doing, As you need experience to get the job however this job provides experience and training for free in thier time so its all good you just need to look out for jobs advertised where experience and traning is offered also go take your c.v to be done properly it always helps, we offer a C.V service at our company i can do you a professional C.V for the price of £5 if need be.

Work as a sale representative for national newspapers. Also i work in one of the biggest nightclubs in my area, serving drunken dickheads.

I move to bournemouth in september, finally be able to get away from these jobs.

Get into something like what? Doing a Business Admin NVQ or the job I'm doing?

I started as an apprentice at 16 getting paid £60 a week to do an NVQ, crap money but at that age I didnt need loads. Once I passed that i got a simple admin job for the company I work at now ,which is a training company. They offered to put me through a Level3 NVQ for free.
I then just pushed my way into the IT Team at the company by constantly showing an interest and getting as much knowledge on the systems we used.

Software remote engineer, supporting all Microsoft OS and software.

I do software deployment for servers and user's machines and maintain the software once deployed, as well as server administration and a bit of Cisco.

Currently in marketing for a company who holds fundraising events for charities.

Looking for a change in direction though.

2 Days week on AutoCad doing electrical lighting/power/fire alarm/security layouts. (i get given marked up drawings, and i create them on pc)

3 Days as student studying horticulture :huh:

Not quite, i'm the step before that, i build, and test the equipment, like loudspeaker management systems and other live sound gear. Do a bit of everything really

Same here we have a sound system we use for club nights and stuff recently purchased these 2 Martin Audio F2B cabs £1000

Eugh you dont want to know. Lets just say it involves a super market, and i hate it.

But i Graduate soon, god know what i'll do then. Probably go back to the old job in the gym for a bit.
Then hope to find my way into the film industry (SFX/animation area) if that fails it's probs RAF (aircrew if poss - but we can all dream...).
