oh my bad I just thought it was an RPG, apparantly its a '****ing rpg'... yeah n1.. rpg = role playing game. How the funk does having 2 different characters with the same name conflict with this?

definatly a room saver.. on current mir 2, im sure they have 3 seperate panels for this...

you must not know what an rpg game is if you dont think a name matters. why havnt any other online rpgs thort of it? its because names are meant to be individual of the character.
i get that it would make it more simple knowing who it is, but wouldnt it also getting confusing?
ranking systems for example, you'd have a top name, but when have to define which of the characters is top.
reminds of that mmo game where you play 3 characters at once, and switch between the one your controlling (sword of the new world) it just wasnt rpg like.
also, i hope your going to design your own interface in the end, as using a mixture of interfaces from games would make it look so tacky.

you don't have to make all the chars use the same name ingame.. jamie just added the possibility to use it if you want.. and if you don't like it then don't use it..
Other games don't allow it cos it's a pap idea.
If you're going on the basis that multiple people have the same name IRL, then why not allow everyone to have the same name, regardless of what account it's on. That's only fair, surely?

exactly.. i don't get the point about arguing on a addon.. it's just a new feature and not something you have to use even though you don't want to..
Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good, and it's not just about whether I want to use it myself or not. That's like saying "oh ya u can put KR teleports in if u want, even tho i disagree with them. i just wont use them myself, tis np".
Care to give some constructive criticism about why you don't like the idea/disagree...?
Its nothing like saying that at all, being able to use the same name clearly does not get you free teleports to KR, nor does it give you any advantage whatsoever.
Don't see how it would be confusing on rankings either.
1. Nymph Level 100 Wizard.
2. Nymph Level 80 Warrior.
3. Nymph Level 70 Tao.
