No, I understand how it works, I just think it's stupid.

Lol. You owned yourself. The majority of people actually voted for either conservative or labour, so a coalition government of those two parties is more representative of the people's vote than a minority conservative government.

But these 2 would obviously not work together, so, still using your theory, it would be conservative & lib dem....

So you would have it so that a party who only gets 36% of the vote can rule with a majority? Are you nuts?

btw labour votes plus lib dem votes add up to 52%. That's a majority of people. I didn't say anything about a majority of seats. And I only used the lib-lab example because skyline brought it up.

Nice try though.

most of Labours votes would of come from lower class citizan due the fact Lib dems and Conservatives want to get rid of the family tax credit.

im hoping the queen will step in and give them 3-4weeks todo another vote. alot of students went the voting stations without there cards, so other people couldnt vote.

****ing idiots if true.

I know in Sheffield a lot of people had trouble voting, mainly in the Hallam area, which is mainly a student area.

when i was a student i wasnt allowed to go to a polling station, had to do postal vote. this should have been the case for every student so there wasnt this mess.

Surely students should have the intelligence to take their voting card to a voting station? xD

I think it was also due to everyone leaving it until the last minute.

I went at 7.30 in the morning, saw like 4 people?

And also the advert said you didn't need your voting card, can hardly blame people if they didn't take/find it.
Hopefully this hung parliament will be resolved soon enough.

Problem is if you made it 2 days people will still decide to leave it until the last minute.
