Yours is the normal edition. I know if you got the game from them directly you can upgrade to the collectors edition for £5 - not sure about if you buy it from another retailer though.

You should get a choice between the 3 below

Finally, all pre-orders will have the choice of one of three Vanity Pets for use in-game:

Scorched Collar - Summons a Hellhound Pup
Pearlescent Conch - Summons a Deep One Spawning
Stone Egg - ****atrice Chick

No they are purely cosmetic.

well the beta client will work plus your items get distrubted across all accounts, they appear in your inbox. So you'll need to go to a city to collect them or a town which has a mail box. The starting zones dont have so the closest to collecting is at Meridian or that other place for the good guys (forgot the name, im a defiant).

You sure the beta client can be patched? Been told i'll need to download a new client.. hoping not as my connection is dead, will take me about 7 hours to download it.

You need to delete the beta client and download a new client.

If you have the RIFT beta client on your hard drive, be sure to uninstall it before installing RIFT.

Collector's Edition and Headstart
Hello, All-

Many of you have pre-ordered the boxed Collector's Edition of Rift and have been asking about getting your pre-order items at Headstart. Since you will not have your actual CE code before you have the box delivered, you would not get your items until release. We have been working on a way to fix that. I'd like to announce that we have come up with a solution!
For Headstart, all accounts with a RETAIL preorder key (physical box preorder only) will receive the Ancient Tartagon Mount and the Bogling Wastrel pet.
These items will be available on all characters on that person’s account
These items will be removed at the end of headstart, unless the player has applied a collector’s edition key during Headstart.
If a player enters a CE key after the items have been removed at the end of headstart, they will get the items back.
Unfortunately, due to technical constraints, the bag will not be available until you have applied your Collector’s Edition key.
