- New Low/Med/High Caves
Would those be along the idea (maps, mobs, access by level) usa mir 'Ancient' caves?
I don't see why existing caves from euro mir shouldn't be plenty enough for all chars till at least level 40. If something is wrong or inadequate with existing old caves, why not perk, tweak those up a little?
for example, I leveled warrior to 33 and I completely skipped Bichon mines because I didn't need to and when I popped in to check it out, I was a bit beyond it and went to BC instead.
Also no class needs low level frog mobs to get to 40, the only justification for the cave is diversion and because of the midboss there.
On euro I think we had SV mines later on and it was higher level cave than Bichon mines which was more for 20 mid twenties pple... I don't know how it is now, all I know I popped in SV mines, went all the way to back parts of 2F and was thoroughly non-impressed and popped back out never to return.
I don't have it figured out but I think some special caves should be all for at least 35+ or 40+ pple (because you spend relatively short time on lower levels anyway and the low level special cave only attracts high level exploiters unless you level restrict it and I am not a friend of level restrictions in principle. PB restriction is different, it gives you something new to look towards, it mainly adds exclusivity to the place, that no 'noobs' are doing their obnoxious exploits etc.
And for higher levels those caves should provide special drops, like you're more likely to get some type of item, or maybe geared towards each class char., like you'd have wiz caves and war and tao cave, each suited more to given char., even though everybody could enter... you know how some caves are more fitted to given class than another (also depends on char level), some caves are pretty well universal for all classes.
I'd see special caves more along the lines of relatively small maps with tough mobs, like high level cave on euro which had zuma mobs and was only one floor and it was map which originally was for guild fighting contest or events or something like that. There was some tough zuma boss in there too. We could have another such map with tough Apes for example.
On usa mir I used to level long time on sin @30+ in AST but it was either items and diversity in BC or in other normal caves, or exp. in those Ancient caves, which I think is silly division to have.
As for other additions, is Casino planned or even possible here? I suppose Magic cave is here? Didn't go yet to check it out, its a shame it has to be buried deep in outlaying region and maybe it is stupidly time restricted also? When we had entrance to MC in SV (I am not sure why or on which mir usa or euro that was), I used to pop in at the end of most days after I've done with leveling, to have some interesting fun. But when it is that connecting path, I couldn't be A even if it wasn't time restricted. As far as I am concerned, the location and access mode made it waste of server resources unless for the time it was accessible from SV (not the best location either, should be somewhere more logical, interesting location, but not make you as high level to wade deep into low level dungeon to get there, and time restriction is totally stupid if you ask me.
