Not trying to be a dick or nothing but no point making a low rate, Acem2 has every decent low rate player on it and it just has much more on the Ace files :\ you would of been better off putting a server out to the high rate user's.

Ace are different files.

I kinda agree with both of you on that, yes they are different files, gives for a different type of gameplay but then again its still a low rate server, personally i think you should aim the for more Med to Low rate server, and by that i mean maybe up your exp x2 from what it is and then as the levels get longer maybe x4 to x10. It would give a very steady plod along pace of lvling and loads of time to add new content to keep players happy, i think you would get a lot bigger response from players that way.

Also with these files you should make use of the quest system and add in quests to keep people going, not massive rewards but it gives people something to do apart from grind one place..

Even just the bog standard kill count ones with a small reward, then you could evolve them to bigger quests depending on what you want to do with it.

Right, so i halfed required EXP for each level
E.g: u needed 200 exp for level 1, now u need 100.

● Autopatcher finished (Autopatcher download instead of full client).

Introduce a starter kit and some gold, also up the gold drops for noobs. As from starting new, it seems like euro but a little higher exp. May aswell play AceM2 if thats the case buddy! let me know

Ye you really need to up the lower end exp a bit more, was just a shout over console 4 people online higherst lvl 12,, what i think you really need to do mate is take the server down for a couple of hours and work over your lvling rate and make it a bit more steady, players dont like the lower lvls in mir... also to take away from that total euro feeling you might want to customise BW a little and add a cave teleport system along the lines of doing a quest for that cave to unlock a teleport to it because like myself most people get bored running to caves now.. been doing it for years lol. (Also cant afford RTS)

You could also do with adding a steady stream of quests during lvling / hunting to balance the grinding all the time.

And last of all.... the items db, what has actually changed because if your making server exp this low.. noone is reallly gonna get too see what you have edited any time soon as its gonna take them a few weeks to get to a level where they actually see anything new.

I all fairness you should just create a complete new set of items.. this will take a while but not long at all, totally custom item db, you wouldnt believe the difference. And try and stay away from multi stat/full lvl kits,, keep your items single class / stat

There is a massive variation that people forget about now with item, everything has Ac/Amc/Dc/Sc/Mc/Speed/Acc/Agil all on one item.

What happened to having 4 different kits for different things in your store PvP kit/Hunting kit/Lvling kit/Ac+Amc kit all built up the way the player wants them, everyone running about with unique kits, bring refine back into the game but dont make it impossible, remember refine used to be fun.. make it pretty easy to get your ore.. remember you still have to hunt for the items / weapons to do it. Most of all make it instant... been a while but i cant remember how to edit the rate of refine success or if you can but tinker with that so make it a steady rate but no insane as you dont want to have to put a massive gap between weapon stats just because you can refine a weapon+20 or w/e. Also dont forget your variation in weapon stats... dont just give all stats to a warrior weapon for e.g

Dc 12 - 51 Speed + 1 Lvl 43
Dc 0 - 47 Speed + 3 Lvl 41
Dc 15 - 45 Speed + 2 Lvl 39
Dc 35 - 35 Speed + 3 Lvl 36

What weapon would you choose? Bet a lot of people would choose differently and it would all depend on what kit they were using.. what luck they had, what other speed on items they had.

And thats just you speed options you could also make a more top end DC range and a top end min DC range there is soo much to work about with different stats you item DB can become HUGE before you know it..

All in all the best advice i can give you if your wanting to gain a bigger player base,, this is what i would personally be happy to play.. it also attracts higher rate platyers as its not a complete and utter grind and may attract some of the low rate players that want something a bitter different and dont want to have to grind away for it also.

Exp seems to be fine now for most of the people, i won't change the exp again for one person. As said before, it's a low rate.
Level 70 items are level 43 here.
I'm working on the cave teleports, should be finished tonight or tomorrow.
About the quests, quests should be ingame later today. Also said before.

You can't know what has been edited and left normal if you only played a couple of hours.
Whats the point in having PVP/Levelling/AC-AMC kit at level 15?

Refining is in game ....

Your missing my point, you have a usercount of 4 because someome has already done it..
Anyone wanting to play a low rate server is on ACEM2, and i dont see them leaving any time soon, not my type of server to play but when i logged on the other day the user count was up over 90 players....

Your not gonna steal that community from ACE and your releasing a server aimed at that community. Im simple saying in my opinion(everyone has their own) if you went down that route its not gonna work, if you aimed at a different place you have a better chance of being successful.

Makes me kinda wish i could be bothered to make a server again.

Also its the point that people logging on are not going to spend hours at a very slow pace to find out if you have changed anything when they run about at the start and see absolutely nothing changed, not even the base lvling rate of mir.

I'm not trying to steal anyones community, i'm trying to run a low rate rubym2 server, wich are different files then ACEm2.
I dont want to be rude now, but if you don't like it, then why don't you just go play ACEm2?
There's other people who like it the way it is now ...

I'm trying to take all suggestions, but i can't make everyone happy.

● User count added to line notice.
● Potcash added to forums.

Not to much ingame content but did alot of other work in SQL etc.
Quests should be ingame tonight after reboot.
