Any 3rd party program used to enhance gameplay or give a player the "edge" or "makes me faster/removes lag" should be ban, no question about it.
Good job on making the Acpi tweeks not work aswell, in my eyes people doing this are also cheaters.......regardless of your reasons.
Why people cant just say "dang that person is more skillful then me, id better work harder" is beyond me, instead they find excuses and blame there equipment/lag ect ect...... its never them.
What happend to the days when, if a game didnt perform smoothly, it was time for a pc upgrade or even a clean to remove spyware and junk....
ps. laptops arnt built for gaming, unless you bought a gaming specific laptop, go get a desktop.
You can buy a decent specc'd pc from adsa/tescos for what £300-400(or cheaper when deals are on) these days and you might need to install your own gfx card, but whoopy dooooo its still cheap!....
Absolute morons.... i dont use gamebooster.. but if people need it to play then let them. Theres a difference between closing processes and cheating. And its very blatant too. I do feel for the people who cant play because on other servers i have had to use gamebooster just to stop lag. Its obviously not a matter of having a crap computer because im sure the people having problems will be able to play better games on the same setup. I supoose its just luck of the draw
If people have a good specced PC(infact it dosnt even have to be good specc), with no acpi tweeks, running a modern version of windows, not an outdated version of XP(theres only one reason i can think of that mir players are still using XP...), and there still lagging, then your pc is full of junk/spyware or you just have a bad ping to the server or mayb the server is even lagging, and in that case everyone has lag... this is no excuse to use a program to make your lag go away, if you have a bad ping, a program isnt going to increase your bandwidth speed/ping, so its doing somthing else.........
Alt+ctrl+del or type msconfig and stop your own services if you really think this is your problem.....
