Not sure if this the right part of forum.

How does he regen work on his server does it make your hp/mp full up quicker when using a pot or is it only active when your not in combat standing still. Does it work at all? And what amount would you need to notice a difference?

To start everyone has 10% hp regen. This is the amount you will see regen every say 30secs. You don't notice it when hunting.

So say a warr has 800hp he regens 80 (total guess) at normal regen. With extra it would go up 80 each time.

I alway thought it would mean you get an extra 10% of the 80 not the 800.

On 2.3 if you had more than 50% you became unbeatable.

On USA Mir regen worked in combat so you didn't use as many pots.

Is this how it's ment to be? Pointing this out as dark arms don't seem to be any better than lvl 40 arm less ac/amc only advantage is extra dc/mc/sc but sue to the lower ac/amc seem to be going thro more pots not less?

Played servers where blue dark arm (+20%hp regen) would completely cancel out many taos green poison completely because of the increase. It should work with your natural regen, i'm not sure about pots, I would've thought it either made them give you +#% more hp, and/or go up +#% faster.

Yeah I'm just wondering if it works at all here as haven't noticed a difference apart from using more pots due to taking more damage.

Anychance of a gm response to confirm what it does????

Maybe on the next reboot they will respond and say "been changed" and not tell us what Or how they have changed it.

On USA Mir regen worked in combat so you didn't use as many pots.

Perhaps you walked during combat? Because regen works not only standing still but also when you walk. Only running deactivates it. But walking on mir is otherwise considered low activity :P' which nobody performs and very few players ever cared for regen anyway because most of the time pots were so cheap and patience low.

Pots taking faster effect (filling up faster where sunpots were at the limit of that - instant recovery) was called (hp/mp) recovery I believe (on the official euro and usa mir) but I think it never worked or perhaps the rate was mistakenly set too low for it to be noticed. o.o

Also not sure how the percentage is calculated. Certainly not from the total like d1craig says above but most likely from the natural regen rate.
This improves with levels and so the advantage of extra regen is felt more at higher levels, it becomes more significant in practical terms.

Didn't natural regen work more often than every 30 secs? Or didn't this time shorten as you went up in levels? Or perhaps mir's 30 secs is shorter than real world time, like 15 seconds given the mir day lasts 12h?
