Update - Bug Fixes, Skill Tweaks and more

We have made a slight few adjustments to the latest patch, remember as stated in the original post we need feed back in order to progress the server. We have made the following adjustments and need your feed back:

  • Minotourus Turn Undead turned on
  • Bonespear Turn Undead turned on
  • A selection of Ice Mobs Turn Undead turned on
  • Spell cast delays adjusted again. (Feedback needed.)

Big Skill Re-balancing Patch this week. We've adjusted a ton of skills to make them better match official Mir. This will likely be another contentious Patch but it's something that was and is required in order to bring you the best set of files possible

Please report any bugs or issues with the skills as these changes are ongoing, any feedback is welcomed. We will do Emergency reboots during the week if required.

Now onto the update details

Bug Fixes
  • Changes to Light Engine to hopefully prevent client crashing
  • ProtectionField Buff Icon now correctly appears
  • Various glitches and bugs fixed in Orc Maps
  • Tweaks to some Boss drops
  • Changes to the speed of nearly every skill so they now match official exactly
  • TwinDrakeBlade - Now works like Official Mir with no delay etc. Essentially it works like Ruby (which is also 1.2x Damage for the record)
  • HolyDeva - Now works like Official Mir, complete with TBolt attack. Can no longer be TurnUndeaded as well
  • FlameField - Damage Calculation now matches Official Mir
  • Reincarnation - Fixed a couple of fringe cases where you'd be unable to reincarnate someone
  • LionRoar - Can now LionRoar Mobs 3 levels higher than you and Para Time increased to match Official Mir
  • Halluncination - No longer attacks Players or Player Pets
  • Entrapment - No longer works on Players and only pulls one Monster at a time
  • Mirroring - Clone Damage adjusted, now closer to Official version but with an Ace Spin. Still uses FD and TBolt depending on the Mob type
  • EShock - Changes to a number of Mobs making them untamable, will add this data to site soon. But it's fairly simple in most cases if it was not tameable on Euro they're currently not tameable here. Example being PastBichon mobs. This will change as we decide what Mobs we do want to allow as Pets

Other
  • Can no longer use SunPotions via Auto Pot system.
  • HeavenArmour & MirArmours now give a candle effect.

Good fixes. Could you clarify how the damage of FlameField is now calculated though? When I think Euro I think "base MC increases damage". Is that actually the case or not here?

Foxes and Omas were tamable btw, just not many people reached them dizzy heights on euro, bar 1 war and 1 wiz on phoenix
Changes to taming can be made on the fly, so a discussion about this from players is welcomed, and if we decide to change this, we can.

Yeah because that happened all the time on euro.

Last time around everyone was saying they'd reroll a wizard becasue warrior sucked. Now TDB is being rebalanced it's the other way around.

You guys make WoW players look reasonable by comparison.

I see the tissues are required already and the server ain't even up yet lol. Look like good adjustments to me.

PastBichon mobs were always living-tamable mobs. The Foxes like: RedFoxMan/WhiteFoxMan/BlackFoxMan were undead hence NOT tamable.

Now what we have here? Foxes are living but NOT tamable, so either cannot TurnUndead them or have them as pets. Fair Play.

Tbh I always assumed Foxes were undead, but as they aren't here I assumed I just misremembered.

Gameplay now feels awful - think perhaps the skill delay is a tad harsh
