Can anything be done to make SabukWall a little more beneficial for the holding guild?

At the moment, all you get from it is a guaranteed 1mil per day, which on this server equates to basically nothing due to the high amount of gold in game and considering that you can make 1mil going round BDD picking up armours in an hour. 5mil a day and it might be worth it as you can build up some nice guild funds to buy members kit.

At the moment, the 20% discounts that are meant to be given to members are not given. Pots cost the same in SW as they do in MW.

People using the facilities in SW also does nothing to increase the amount of gold the wall earns, it maxes out at 1mil within about 3 hours after passing midnight and goes no higher.

Other than just for a scrap, hardly any guilds apply for the wall and quite honestly I dont blame them! Even when people do apply for it, defending guilds most of the time simply cant be bothered with the hassle of defending it because its pretty pants.

Could anything be added to make it a more appealing prospect to guilds to take? Teleport to outside caves, torches with minor stats that you can buy inside the palace (these are ideas just form the top of my head here so may be a little stupid), anything! Maybe other people can think of other things?

Exp buff for a hour everyday wall is kept, stat buffs for a hour everyday wall is kept, dosent need to be nothing major, something like x1.2 Exp and 5 stat buff for and hour once clicked on an NPC in SW?

That's one of the worst ideas I ever saw in any server. Give the dominant guild a levelling advantage. No no and no. Seen SW holders given a stat boost for a limited time that's not so bad as long as its only an hour at most. A dura saving item can't remember what these were Chocolate? Conch shells. These items to expire after an hour or so and not be tradeable. Holding guild members get one every time they defend successfully. This might stop the "fake wars" when no one turns up if the defenders have an advantage from keeping it.

Add some sort of SW guild territory, so the wall holders get their own turf, with cheap pots n ****. mayb it'll b worth having the wall, lol.

Wouldn't that be exactly the same as an exp buff and give the dominant guild more advantages? Seen it done on another server somewhere. No one went once the novelty wore off because there was better levelling or better drops in the rest of mir. If its better to level in the guild cave then it gives too much advantage, if it isn't better no one will go so its wasting valuable coder time.

Liking some of the ideas and id just like to say one thing - dominant guilds shouldnt be punished just because they are big. Its easy to see that the majority of guilds that are made on this server that grow to any decent size seem to disband a couple of weeks after due to the stress of having so many members/arguments etc, so if any guild can get into a position to be large and stay there, then they should be rewarded.

Having a wall that requires a strong guild to take and defend and then saying "they shouldnt get an advantage because they are already strong" seems a bit pointless to me. After all, SabukWall was originally created with the idea of benefiting the guilds who were able to take and hold it.

Give the holding guild their own boss that spawns every 3 hours in a little room via an NPC with drops and rates comparable to MTK or something.

Something, anything to make the wall worth actually having and putting in the time and effort to keep rather than just leaving it to boss hunt which is the better option atm.

The benefits cant be too advantageous or it will turn into 1 guild server, so just something small would do the job, xwzs idea about a territory is nice. Also few things to improve the war itself, making it 30-45mins, no drops inside palace, a leaderboard would be pretty cool and whoever gets most kills gets a reward, not sure if that could be done tho?

Why do you NEED something? the whole point of SW is for bragging rights and a show of strength, the money you get its to be used towards the cost of repairs to the walls thats what its there for, when was the last donation made to the guild wall fund? you more then likely can cover the costs on your own.

Also when you took the wall you already knew what you would be getting, you don't like it? give it over to another guild, if anyone will take it that is.

More advantages? Never mentioned any guild lvling cave.
Just a normal guild zone, where your guild can be doing what ever the heck they like.

Any benefits from holding the wall should be superficial, e.g. a name colour and other little customisations. Experience boosts, exclusive items and cave access would simply add to the guild's strength and reduce the likelihood of another guild holding the wall.

The dominant guild bit made me laugh - just because they 'hold' sw doesn't make them the dominant guild.

Agreed, other guilds dont go for sabuk because you get nothing from having it, its been taken off DA abunch of times and even when DA had quit nobody went for it because theres no reason to :P

Cause there clearly is another guild which is alot stronger but just won't bother :P

Well maybe if SW was worth having they would go for it wouldnt they?!

Lol so funny. People are just trying to make the game better or more fun.

As you can see nobody bothers with SW because bragging rights are for immature little kids and I know many of you wouldn't like to believe it but the majority of people that play this game are not kids.

Teleports to caves be my favourite idea. Any argument about it could also be made about horses and auto pathing.

SW should be left as it is, there should be no benefits. As others have said, giving it benefits would turn the server into a 1 guild server because everyone would want the benefits.

Maybe this is true on this server I was thinking about some of the other servers I have played which had one or all of the "benefits" given to SW holders, not just this server. Trying for an overview. The guilds here are different from other servers maybe because there seems to be a lot of "names" missing and a lot of people here who haven't played since euro or just one or two of the other servers.
I think my idea about the temporary dura loss stopper or maybe even a special repair token for ONE item (not trade able/droppable)might be enough. Dropping the duration to 1 hour might be good if the attacker could choose which hour say between 6pm and 10pm. Might not be possible

I agree in some way that it would be nice to have some benefit of having Sabuk.

But, it's really hard to do something without giving too much of an advantage. I'm happy to just leave it as it is for now, but I'm happy to listen to all your suggestions and we (The server team) can discuss them.
