Gemming

Is there a certain thing to gemming? Increasing the chance it'll work? Some people say only gem with 5 body luck, some people saying just after you level, and some say don't gem if you have just been killed either by a mob/player, I cannot get past 3 on an item, meanin iv managed to gem to +3 mc on afew things, but if I try add ac/mac it will always break going for the +4 stat

I thought gems maxed at +3 per stat anyway?.

Personally Gemming is far too easy on the server, There doesn't seem to be any chance reduction for each gem you add to the item.

If any of the above is true then iv wasted a **** load of cash/items on trying to gem lol.... Ill gem as soon as I have enough cash to buy a gem, weather iv just lvld or died ill gem! No wonder my **** always breaks after +2 or I'm just unlucky lol

+3 is max, if you read the thread he/she says once they hit +3 on mc, going for the 4 stat meaning ac/amc that's why you see items like DC+3 AC+3 AMC+1 coz max is 7

Iv always thought it was just down to pure luck, but then again iv never been a successful gemmer on any server so maybe I'm doing something wrong lol

I think it's down to luck but can't comment code wise.

Also, getting +4 with Gems should be difficult lol

Are you not reading? Layla's stated once getting to +3 on 1 stat then gemming another.... And also skyline has stated, it's probly hard getting +4, altho there's alot of +7s about, they just must be extremely lucky, or not letting on to the secret :P

This might just be luck, But gems won't work for me unless I actually go out and lvl abit.
If I go a good wee hunt I will not log off and use it to gem, it seems to work for 1 or 2, Then have to lvl again abit.

Everytime I try to gem just outta randomness it ether breaks or does nothing.

I also barely die and don't pk so dunno if these factors will come into it.

Also this could just be nothing but luck but appears to work for me and now wont do without it.

its not hard to get your body luck up. i die and drop to bodyluck 4 all the time i get it back up to 5 by running to EC and killing it if its there. the only mobs i kill while there are ETs (if i run into any) and the normal mobs around where EC would spawn.

So people are buring 5-10mil a time on items that will probly only end up being 20-30 once max added, dosent make sense :P

Well AC/AMC orbs are worth 1.5mil (Lesser ones)
