it should download mir2.dat if you don't have it in the folder..

looks like a problem in the autopatcher something.. or missing connection to the internet ? boh

Is the mir2.dat file actually there?....

Check its named correctly. And if u have changed your .dat file to an .exe just have a go at changing it back.

Also. At what point is the error coming up? As you load the patcher or when you click ok?

As soon as I load the patcher.
Got only the Data, Map, Resource, Update, Wav folders ; the update.ini ; Mir2Update.dll and the mir2 icon in my folder...

In theory you shouldn't have to. As far as I understand the patcher, if no file named .dat is there, it would download it - i.e. you get a .exe and .dat in the folder. (if you continue to use .exe, it could get out of date - prob make sense for the patch folder to have a duff .exe in there to prevent this)

Also when I try to run the Mir2 the patcher appears @ 1st for like 2 seconds and after tht another "patcher window" appears only this time it has some chinesse writing @ Status and right after that it gives me that error:

Mir2 Client Update : Error Log

"http://patch.acem2.com/!klist.lst" ¿¬°á¿¡ ½ÇÆÐÇÏ¿´½À´Ï´Ù.

And after I press ok/cancel I get "mir2.dat" not found. Please patch(2).

PS: downloaded from 2 links : the ones hosted by mirfiles and Ripman..still get the same error..
