That's true... Humm not sure what might be causing this to fail then... It's failing trying to draw the GUI I believe, are you GDP drivers up to date?

Stack seems to indicate the logger crashed it due to some object being not instantiated. Could it be the patcher tried to create a log file but it had no permission to do that?

Lol, I dunno what I was reading...

Its most likely been put in program files... There seems to be additional security in there that may stop file manipulation etc, I recommend c:/Chronicles as the game dir.

after watching download for 12hrs (mobile internet) its only been showing 1-3 people online surely people havnt given up testing

I know this sounds stupid.

But just because 4.0 works for XP, doesn't mean it will work for Windows 7.

4.0 is XPs maximum
4.5 is 7s maximum.

I suggest you download 4.5 and try again, cause I don't think 4.0 will work on 7 (4.5 also includes everything 4.0 does, so your not losing anything)

Little tip for everyone else, don't use out of date software if a more up to date version is available....stop being lazy and update. Posting issues related to out of date software will only hinder progress and you make Sam look into fixes that aren't neccesary

Mine is showing 4... It works surely, if not then its already broken! Bugs are appearing slower, so fingers crossed they are stopping playing due to not being able to find bugs!

Mine is showing 4... It works surely, if not then its already broken! Bugs are appearing slower, so fingers crossed they are stopping playing due to not being able to find bugs!

Yeah I had to remove a bunch load because my Nvidea GeForce drivers were going wild. Thanks for the help. Too much programming just makes numbers jumble through my head. Working now but do notice it just glitch and get stuck downloading files every so often. Anyone else had them issues?

Okay Sam Ive just encountered the problem now on the 64 bit WIndows 7 machine I have running. I have installed .NET Framework 4.5.1 onto this system but the error message still relates to Win32. Error displays still:
Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0
Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.

But i have 378758 running which is stated by msdn as the version ".NET Framework 4.5.1 installed on Windows 8, Windows 7 SP1, or Windows Vista SP2".

Any suggestions or would it be possible for me just to download the files to the 32 bit computer and then just drag the files across when updates occur or would these updates be available as seperate zip files on here or the games personal server (if one is going to be set up)?

My client folder only has 10 files in it, patcher didn't really download much, something wrong there ? :S
