Body Drops on PK

why on earth would this not be in? people play mir cuz no game has yet come close to the PvP that mir has to offer, take this away and you have 99% of the player base gone. if you wanna play carebear **** get yourself on another game.

Euro and USA didn't have body drops along with other private servers.. I play this game to pk people so i'm glad it's in
Just a tad over exaggerating with your percentages I see :P, a lot of people wouldn't play true, but I know of quite a few who don't even play for pvp, making up at least 2% of the population

What is so revolutionary about lom pk? I would be inclined to say it's back in the stone age in comparison to what choice of mmorpg's are out there.

A lot of mmorpgs do have better pvp systems but I have yet to find a decent one that involves body drops from pk. Without risk games just get boring not caring if you die in a fight ruins it for me personally.
I like mir pvp because you can't make a 1 button macro to spam a rotation like todays MMO's. In mir you have to be able to play manually on the fly with a semblance of skill. There's no special spell to get you out of trouble if you have been slowed down neither unless you are a wizard. Mir pvp is hardcore.

the moment a warrior is in your face you can't use a skill that takes you to safety , the only safety is TT and when you tt it's always a defeat.
Or RT depending on where you are
But everyones right, i've played a stupidly big range of MMORPGs, and Mir is the only game that has a body drop.

And no one want's to TT, especially if quite far into a cave. Bit of a trek all the way back if you need to carry on pking.
Yes the risks and the body drops make mir more fun. But like someone else said the pvp system is tweak to win, fastest pc wins.
No problem with that, just lets be clear. It isn't cos the winners are skilled. They understand pcs better is all.
The ones that don't bother to find and use tweaks shouldn't complain though.

there is PR to prevent slowing you down =)
Wizard is never supposed to let wars/sins to get close by....thats why you cast and move, a good wizard will never get killed by a warrior
True, but a PR kit isn't skill is it? A pr kit is being able to get gems and use them without breaking stuff. That's being lucky. Let's hope the gemming success rates aren't too good here and added stats are capped.
Except you got random teleports. 1 button safety guaranteed and with no cooldown.

euro mir did have body drops in on pk, back in the early days. lots of ppl complained it was changed. pissed alot of ppl off lol

Thats not always the case, Tweaking definitely helps, but a crap PVP'er on a tweaked PC will almost always get beaten by someone that knows how to PVP properly.
My little bro used to be a demon when it came to PVP, back on dragon server he got to level 14 on a warrior and used to whoop level 40s in the contest room with his noob gear!
hes a little git really, he seems to kick ass on CoD/Conter strike games as well. He just has the knack of hitting the correct buttons at the correct time (and seemingly much faster than i ever could! - he kicked my arse all the time)

body drops were a great thing on euro, Sabuk wars became quite fair because everyone wore shop kit unless they had faith in their own RT/DEing skills lol I must of left before they removed them :-(
