ive had a look about and ive not seen anything on the matter , so sorry if ive missed it. but..

As on acem2 attack speed was fairly easy to gain letting warriors cap, this being the case will attack speed be harder to get as wars with spamming tbd and cap speed will make being a sin pointless.

im sure you have thought about this but to make class choice for later lvls its something i would like to know.

From what I've seen, gales are 1 a.speed for rings, and 2 a.speed on necklace and cannot be gemmed, so if you want to reach the cap you will be sacrificing a lot of DC until you can storm gem/orb the rare/good items later in the game

Should return gale items to original stats if they can't be upgraded.

with the a speed cap at 8 it would be stupid to give warriors them items at their normal stats because this would make sins redundant. unless they wna lift the speed cap, which imo still shud be done with items stats they are =/

Special items (inc gales) are not gemmable and the gale set provides a total of 4 aspeed...

Storm gems are not easy to come by and there success rates are significantly lower than that of the MC/SC/DC ones.

For a warrior to gain +8 speed, he will either have to sacrifice a great deal of DC, or, be very lucky and sacrifice many items and gems on a long road to achieving a half decent dc kit with full speed...

Sin gets full speed for free.

So is this the case with accuracy also? Will sins have to sacrafice dc for acc? As warriors get it for free? So items like sharp braces should be made so the cant be upgraded?

Even though I don't agree with it...I believe Sin got an extra skill called Proficiency which gives Acc to not have the need for such items.

But as with Fencing you will continue to miss a great deal until it's maxed out, plus they don't get this till Lv.11 so there start up will be a pain lol

Assassin will be boring.

The A.Speed is done differently, 8 is equivalent to like 12 I believe?

Even if it wasn't...8 was still plenty fast lol...what is it with you lot wanting everything on a silver plate

Hardly. 8 is a huge step down if you have ever played USA or Ruby servers.

A sin weapon dropping at a speed+1 is actually a disadvantage because he loses 1 gem/upgrde stat???

IIRC MirBlades have A.Speed +2 on them, pretty much a redundant stat and therefore relatively a weaker item compared to the MirSword.

Well the aspd should be swapped for more dc or acc.

The speed cap is just silly IMO. But moaning aint guna change it.

if ur lucky enough to get mirblades u really dont need any extra dc or acc, sins are hugly powerful, with thier ownly weakeness being the hp pool, and when u consider just how dangerous they are i think they are balanced decently.

and keep in mind, while you obviously cant obtain mirblades at low lvls, it is infact a level 20 weapon, and a sin at lvl 20 would find that aspeed useful.

without the speedcap assasins would be unstoppable vs damn near anything that couldnt 1 hit them, as it is, with lvl 3 haste ur lucky if u dont catch 2 full attacks (4 hits) off a sin who simply does a run by attack, and at high levels with decent kit, they can pretty much 2 hit any wiz/sin/tao and 3-4 hit any warr

Sorry, I was not debating the useful/unusefulness of assassins. Merely indicating that there is an inherent flaw with this model, in that positive stats will have essentially no effect for 1 class.

I used to think with all the caps being imposed there are clear design flaws.
But only today I realised the entire server is built around the phillipino files, so perhaps those caps are in effect there too aswell.
If its not based around euro my whole position has changed because I have no experience with PHILLLI MIR.

I wasn't aware speed+, poison+, slow+ etc. etc. had a use on tao/wizz.

MirBlades do not have speed(they did on beta yes)

Weapons do not drop with speed+? Never have, so there will be no 'useless' added stats on wep drops for assassins apart from the obvious which is the case with any class.
