Has this server been modified so XP and ACPI tweaks don't make you super fast?

1. Use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software (including gamebooster) designed to modify the Legend of Mir Chronicles experience.
2. Exploit any aspect of the game, as well as that of any third party infrastructure used to host/increase/provide the games experience e.g. Website/Dedicated Servers etc.
3. Disrupt or assist in the disruption of any computer used to support the game and/or any other players game experience.

ACPI is not gamebooster, maybe they should state it more concise which tweaks are allowed and which are not.
Im ok with any decision.

Stupid, these tweaks are what mate pvp'in worth while...I can modify my services and **** without Chronicles knowing so it seems like a load of waffle really.

Gamebooster is shite end off (everyone should use mine, infact il upload it soon...goodluck then) Before anyone flames, its not a cheat its a ****ing simple batch.

technically any third party tool that gives you a game play advantage over others can be classed as cheats, even if it is built in to the OS. Just because you do something that cant be detected easily doesn't mean its allowed, thats idiot logic.

If it makes such a difference on these files, I strongly suggest you deny connection from an inappropriate HAL rather than banning people you suspect of doing so.

On ace didn't just make people slower any ways ? (acpi driver) pretty sure it had no effect on acem2.

Acpi is **** anyways. U can run it on a vm and be much faster thn acpi on tiny xp or w/e **** build on xp..

So it's idiot logic to turn off a few services for the aid of other applications other than mir, but if i want to play mir i have to turn them on? That's idiot logic if you ask me.

I've turned off certain services and changed a few things in registry and that's classed as cheating ? Shut the **** up and get with it you morons and if anyone says "Buy a new pc" you can do one.

this cannot be considered cheating.. please.. there is no sense at all consider this edits as a cheat.

if i shutdown the printer spooler service or the windows time service i cannot be banned for cheating as this doesn't in anyway make the game quicker.. it can only free some ram and maybe, just maybe, make a download slightly faster.

this is like banning everyone who has a computer which is different from a specific model with the default system installed

if i'd tweak the computer it wouldn't be for just playing mir.. it would be for the sack of having a decent environment in which you can actually work properly.

i am not a good win7+ tweaker but i am on winxp and the difference between a stock winxp installation and a properly tweaked version can be noticed on every aspect of daily use.. however don't see the point in penalizing me because i tweak my environment since at the end of the day the difference within a game isn't much compared to what difference you could achieve by actually upgrading hardware on a normal pc.

Tweaks to improve gaming on a whole would probably have no effect on Mir. The tweaks that people do on XP for Mir are usually just bugs that create infrequencies in system timers.
