Seen a few post about this, will this be implemented? Would be so awesome.. The Mir 2 system sucks and as it has been stated, leveling your weapon gives a little more incentive to grind away.

(This is not Aaron this is Tom, I am not the creator of tatsunuko Aaron is, I have nothing to do with it, so anyone wondering why this account is posting there you go).

Thanks!

If gemming/orbing is capped the same as ace was then refining gives people the incentive to improve their weapon more so. This may encourage people to use it more which in return could possibly get rid of a lot of weapons too if they eventually start to flood the server, who knows!

No ones going to risk the higher level weapons, and if theres going to be a user count as predicted you're not going to have any spare laying around either

refineing was very much alive on the previous big servers I'm sure I wouldn't have made a 10-11 staff otherwise . but on ace it was very dead I will agree . the mir3 system was Defo a big inprovment on mir2 even make it harder to lvl weapons or something. but with gems being more consentrated on accessory items it would be nice for the refineing to be apart of the game again on an ace server.

Refining should have never been neglected, rookie error that.

Also , people keep forgetting that Euro / Mir3 or whatever your aiming to replicate are just "Guidelines". The constant need to replicate something exactly within mir is sickening.

I actually prefer the Mir2 system. It's a gamble. Mir3 was too easy, granted you never got +15 very often (if at all) but it was a little carebear in approach to giving stats out.

what about combining the 2? have to level the weapon and the higher level it is the greater chance to break.

three outcomes to refine - work, fail and break.

so lvl 1 is pretty much a dead cert to work/fail with a slim chance to break and then it gets progressively tougher till you reach level 15 which is a slim chance to work with a high chance to fail/ break.

15 would be too high on Mir2, in comparison Mir3s stats were ridiculously high. for Mir2 it would have to be capped at 5 or something. The combination of both versions is pretty much the Mir2 version but you have to level the weapon before hand.

Not against the idea as it would be universal for everyone, I just prefer the Mir2 version as it's more of a chance and most people don't do it which provides a potential source of income for the daring.

ah hope its mir3 system as people will just refine lvl 33 weps and if they get a higher lvl weapon they wont refine it ?
maybe a option on the first 10 refines u cant lose it even if it works or not ? and after the 10th refine there is a change u can lose the weapon?
the more higher lvls after lvl 10 the bigger % u can lose? something like that

also can you reset your weapon on this server?(if you not happy with your refine?)

15 was just an example could be customised to fit main difference to mir 2 is the chance to fail or break might get more people to risk a refine.

would reduce the risk of breaking but also not raise the chance for success.

Use mir3 ref system at rates of

+0 90%
+1 80%
+2 70%
+3 60%
+4 50%
+5 40%
+6 30%
+7 20%
+8 10%
+9> 5%
10 refines max

Max added stat would be 13 but that would be at a chance of 1/2.666.666.666 which prettymuch means nope not gonna happen.

Mir2 was higher stats if you don't count USA mir3 and hermit.
why?, gems .

You must be joking? With skills like Renounce and Might on Mir3 stats were crazily high at the end of Mir3 Euro compared to Mir2.

Personally I think scrap the Gem/Orb bullshit, and just have slots and Mir3 style refining

if mir 3 system was used a failure should -1/2/3/4/5/6 stats w/e so that there is a risk to adding stats to a weapon
