Is there any further damage been done by the breach or just the login details they have obtained..?
Just trying to get a rough idea so were not pestering you needlessly whilst your trying to work mate

Shakes, bad tempers, kicking the cat etc but I don't think any1s ever died from Mir withdrawal symptoms, so im sure the majority will understand if u need time to resolve this issue. Don't kill urself an get sum sleep lol. A fresh perspective in the morning often helps.

I'll help ya out and ease some of this stress by showing players how to to get constant 60 fps and have a silky smooth game experience by a few simple steps - it might bring back some of the dis-harted players
(You will not be slow in PVP, you'll be as fast as the top 10% that run around that look to skip on you're screen)
Will 100% work for anyone running windows 7
I'll make a thread when the game is up and running again
(I'm also doing this because I'll be playing a whole lot less so I won't be caring if everyone is around the same speed)

That's nothing to do with being right, this is one of the first servers I know that has been hacked into the database o0 [By hacked I mean an actual force, not oh I gave my db out like a jackass].
Twitter has previously been hacked, hotmail, league of legends [the whole password reset thing]. Plenty of big companies get hacked and it's a growing thing sadly. Don't be too surprised o0.

when will you be sending the passwords out,?also, were all the email accounts connected to the paypal process also taken? I enquire because those accounts are active and will be spammed or whatever.

No paypal individual paypal information is stored.
Progress update:
Going slower than I anticipated, however I have made good progress throughout the night... I do have work today and the likely hood of getting it ready, tested and back up before 9am is low so I wouldn't hold my breathe for it to be up before this evening.
As always apologies for the downtime; not in a million years could I have prepared myself for this (good learning curb if nothing else).

what a shame.. who ever did this spoiled completely the game.
we will never be sure of what happened so login data, dropfiles, backdoors, source leak? what could have happened? it will even be difficult to discover.
breach was based on a windows exploit? unpatched RDP? what was it? security breach based of unproper setup by user? i find it difficult that there are still hosters around with unpatched windows components.

I'd also ask that if we're getting new passwords - can Copy/Paste be allowed for the login box - personally I always use a password generator and I couldn't here because we couldn't copy/paste, no doubt the passwords being sent out will be generated and since we can't change these passwords without great effort right now trying to type them in every time will be a complete ballache
