Hiding : anywhere in any cave, if you say are running to ec and u get stuck and hide, the mobs on your screen stop but the ones that still are runnin after you off your screen, proceed to chase you down and cannot stop until you hide when there on your screen. Tiger necklaces - 1/2 of the server use these cause of the 50% magic reduction, quite ridiculous tbh as tao's do shag all dmg anyway and targeting isn't the easiest I have been told that its reduced to 25% in the DB but still displays 50% reduction, I find this hard to believe, needs changing as its a serious game changer for us casters, even if you have changed it to to 25% in the DB and 50% is on the necklace maybe that is where the bug is, bugs pop up from nowhere it might actually need to be corrected on the necklace as to what it is in the DB for it to work 100% on 25% dmg reduction. Targeting - still find it very difficult to lock onto people because of dead mobs that surround grouped players, or for another example, a tao can put his shinsu behind him and as a lot of people would know if they do that casters and even melee have a very hard time trying to lock onto a target hiding behind a massive dog because it covers its own space and about 2 above it :/

Ugh, paragraphs man! Not trying to be a grammar Nazi but it's hard to read posts that are just a constant stream of text with no obvious breaks.

On the subject of Hiding - I get the feeling it's intentional for some mobs to ignore it (on screen or off, some mobs always seem to keep attacking you regardless). It certainly has always been that way anyway. Now "it has always been that way" is obviously not a reason to keep it that way, but you'd have to see whether the staff consider it to be working as intended or not.

This is correct, when you make a mob in the mob DB you choose if it can see through hide or not.

On the subject of tiger necklaces, yes its frustrating to see that 3rd lightning in a row miss but I also know that if people didn't have tiger necklaces they would never get running again in PvP, they need to stay. Or all necklaces need to have MR, starting off low amounts and increasing with the rarity of the necklace.

Appreciate the inputs without a slagging contest goin on as there usually is in threads these days, however, for some reason every post I make I can't make paragraphs It is weird :/ - don't think I explained it properly tho - the same mobs eg, giant worm, whimpering bee, black mags, that are on my screen when I hide, stop dead, where as the ones that are off my screen when I hide still proceed to run after me, until I move a step and hide when there on my screen then they stop dead like the ones that were already on my screen, if ya get me :P

Could make hiding similar to dash repulse and tame etc. only works on mobs within certain levels of the player casting it. Would need an adjust like - earlier than you can dash and repulse things.

Some mobs in the DB have massively exagerated levels relative to thier stats, purely to stop repulse/TU etc etc

ZumaGuardians for example are level 49 or something. Yet a lvl 15 archer could probs kill one.

Hiding wouldnt work on noob mobs with high levels.

On my noob tao in ST I can hide myself, a boar will proceed to hit me two or three times and then it will leave me alone regardless, it seems to see through hide for a small duration.
