No cry thread, its a valid point, I too like to play on a fair level playing field, and not have to deal with cheaters, i dont like them in mir, i dont like them in Neverwinter, I dont like them in EQ2 et al....cheaters have a really bad effect on Mir though, especially if they are manipulating items/economy. It makes us honest players struggle when they inflate prices ect. its not even about PvP and loosing to them its about PvE and having an advantage there.
I think sam should also deal with the gold sellers, after all they not hard to catch with names like "SellGold" ect.

Didnt Mir have the speed detection software? where it checked your speed, and if u were too fast it kicked you off the server? is that available? or has that become redundant due to the assassin class?

Because what you're asking is pretty much impossible, as many people have already explained to you.
IP Bans can be bypassed easily, Hardware ID checks can be bypassed easily, what else would you suggest?
Your reasons may be valid but you can't just say "Why are they allowed to make new accounts?" if you have no proposed way of stopping them.
