Got the chance to solo IZT as a low lvl taoist (trash tier, welcoming flamers).

Only took 15 minutes..

Soloed him a second time on the next respawn

First solo time in BDD did 12 IWT, 5IKH and 2IZT in 3 hours got 0benes and 400k of items

I know not every tao would try and not every tao would succeed.
This to me is more evidence that the game needs adjusting to make it more difficult because all been playing for years n years.
Bosses shouldn't be 2/3 man kills. If this is the way "its always been" do you all really want everything easy? Change is good

One quick way to make it harder would be to make mobs spawn by the door, i can kill IKH/IZT if i have loads of free time with no one running in, because the door is a large area which I can run around in. IZT hit me twice it was purely him being flinched and me having autorun on, it took a solid 15-18 minutes (not really an easy solo).

Every class can solo it given the right circumstances so not incredible.

You can almost guarantee that I'll never get to solo it like this again once drops are improved, every man and his dog will kill it every spawn.

Anyway don't really want this turning into a 'omg bosses are too easy' thread, was just something to shout about.

Please expand? the first 1/3 of the kill I did without, the second half I used autorun as it's a little easier than holding down the mouse for 20 minutes.

I have the slight suspicion that he means the D on the shortcut on the keyboard, which is called autorun, not the cheat "autorun". I am only assuming this because even someone who is even slightly retarded on the best of days would refrain from mentioning the fact they cheat on a post meant to be pointing out an achievement, though obviously i could be wrong.

And no, bosses arnt to easy. Being able to stand anywhere in bdd and not see someone for 15-18 mins is a once in a blue moon occurance, let alone in IZT. He is only managing it at the moment because its more rewarding to go and kill omas in PB.

I still am testing the waters in what I can solo as a decent(ish) kitted 42 'sin
Makes the game somewhat interesting but still to this day, never get a good drop! =[

Poor bugger on loosing drop good effort mate! 15-20 mins to solo a boss is acceptable in my eyes, not everyone can team up with a genuinely reliable person who won't steal drops so fine as it is its mid tier boss, Mir king is higher tier and uses magic can't be soloed to my knowledge yet? So wouldn't make this any more difficult, you should be rewarded for your time mate

Nice one. I remember the days of just standing round the corner and sitting for what felt like hours to poison/deva it to death when my resident wizard wasn't available.

I also remember doing 3 taos all face on with it beating it to death with ssw's/sabres while mass healing each other. Was good fun.

Will have to try it on chronicles for some fun the way you've done it here looks like fun!

The only way to kill it for me is to just have a lot of extra time it's like killing an IWT in permanent rage mode with lots of HP. Basically I just ran away from it and did SFB every 3/4 seconds, making sure I ran in roughly a square as otherwise it would walk out of reach of my shin and wouldn't be flinched.

Whenever it needed a rev/poison I just let it aggro my pets and then did that at enough distance to get running again.

Can spend 15 minutes killing it then someone comes in and steals so you just need luck!
