Set rebirth level at 45 or fairly reachable level (47 is highest level).

Therefore, most of people can experience this idea and tell their feeling.

Moreover, 45 is reachable level. So ppl can get back to their original level quickly.

Set up rebirth gifts: 42-48 skills books, 40 weapons. let players to choose. So rebirth provide a new way to get new skills and new weapons. (Set up rebirth preparation time (3 days, etc) so people can train they new skills and get use to they new weapons).

level 50 is too far away where most of players will not have the patience to reach.
It will be a big decision if you reach to 50 and start again. This big decision makes this game less fun and more boring.
Game should be relax and fun.

I like this idea of rebirth, it just needs to be more touchable, give the a new way for players to experience new things.

coz most of us have played this for years and years, and love it as we do its getting a bit lame now, same old **** time after time. oh and This rebirth thing is in the image of other mmo.
If you want constant updates/expansions with new continents, dungeons and classes, new mechanics, play an MMO.
I was under the impression this was an mmo, and patch 2.0 was bringing all the above except classes. :P

If you want to relive the glory days, play Mir as is. This is a private server, which does not have a dedicated development team that can spend 240 man hours per week creating a new feature set.

so this rebirth thing is a quick 5 min code he does while sat having a ****? interesting..

lol silly question but: why do you start with the assumption that lvling from 0-4x is where most fun is had in mir?
most fun is had in trying to fight boss's that you might not be able to kill,
level so you can wear the next gear/kill the next boss etc.

rebirth isnt gonna change that, it's just gonna make it so there's total overpowered low level players stealing the content from normal low level players (think a normal new lvl 30 trying to solo iwt and some rebirth guy comes and FF's him instead)

problem isnt that ppl are bored of lvling etc, problem is there's next to no content for anyone who isnt highest lvl/gear.
if you're not highest lvl/geared, you're likely gonna get owned when trying to kill hard boss's (time consuming etc).
even if you get to a boss room, most likely the boss is killed by a higher group cause of the several hours of respawn on each boss
want to make ppl enjoy lvling again?
do what every mmo in the past 10 years has done:
create instanses, add alot more sub boss's so everyone has a chance of finding and trying to kill them (without being attacked by someone 5-10 lvl's ahead of you).
in the end i'm not asking for some super rare drops etc btw, even if the sub boss's dropped nothing that normal mobs dont drop (just higher chance), it's still far more fun to try and beat them

No, I'm just fairly confident it would just take way less than making new dungeons, items, skills from scratch.

Sounds ok , but I would personally just prefer higher level content. Takes far too long from 44+ onwards to just have to do it all again, Would put me off anyway, can we just get some high end caves/content

Limits the content for those who choose to not rebirth.
If you give content to rebirthers only it's essentially nerfing them for not rebirthing at all.

I don't like the idea of any rebirthing, just bring in high tier quests which can give us level 4 skills and such. Class specific quests that we can do, to get level 4 skills.

God please no awful idea!! your over thinking it just change the exp tables from 44 onwards so its less of a grind 1-2% an hour fastest is too slow at 44+

Wouldnt mind mir3 rb and refines tbh. Add more depth to gameplay and be able to put in more ott bosses

Mir3 refining would actually be awesome. Don't care for rebirths tho

Some good ideas on here, overall the rebirth system seems to be a no go.
There are many reasons why it would be easier but those reasons arent good or appealing to the majority.

Look at the actual end game issues.
1) Sam has alreasy said they have masses of content to use its just knowing how to implement it.
2) any new contend is incredibly hard to balance. Its either too hard for everyone, too easy, benefits 1 class, gives too much or too little exp. excludes too many people, includes too many people.

A suggestion.
No rebirth. Quests avaikible at level 45. "gain 10mill xp" get said book as reward. This way you breakdown the level without actualy breaking it into multiples.

New aura items. (unrepairable dura)
Not crazy rare, similar to a bene id say. These auras will have things like "jinchon temple difficulty halfed" so they deal 50% less damage, take 50% more..
These sort of items would allow you to implement content that large groups could takle now but anyone with an aura could go solo or in smaller groups.

this would fix the too hard or too easy caves imo, jinchon becomes minotemple.., exp is better drops are better but only for people with the required aura and level to use said aura.
Orc cave becomes past bichon.

any thought on this one guys??

agreed, I have managed a 40+ tao and warrior now, struggling to want to level now im 44 :/ 50m to 160m is too big of a jump
