Griefing players out of hard earned gold / time

this is a big reason why people leave.
many who havent played in years came back for to try Chronicles. What they got was a faceful of aggressive bad language and constant pk. The "community" changed and this abusive nastiness is the way it is here mostly.
These players used to be the minority and ignorable. This is mild compared to some of the stuff I had to put up with simply because I didnt let ppl pk me.

Firstly id like to apologise for posting this thread here i didn't know where to post it, This afternoon after a long mining session i went to the weapon shop to sell my ore whilst i was doing this i was subject to grief by DubRR with him untaming his pets on me and ovbiously i didnt notice due to me selling ore.. i dropped my titan ring which ive worked a long time obtain i messaged dubrr for it back i got no reply so hes ovbiously taken the high road with my gold by his scumbag ways below you will find the context of our conversation i couldnt take screenies on my laptop due to having no pause break key so i took photos of our conversation via camera on my phone gm i hope something happens with this scum.

So the dude with the pets was in there first, you walk in, he "lets his pets untame" (last time I checked you have no control over when pets untame), they kill you because you stand there like lemon, and call it grief play?

Get over it and be more careful in future. You got unlucky but you were also pretty antagonistic from the moment you messaged the wiz guy, so I don't really blame him for his replies.

Allthough I agree standing afk in a shop is a tool thing to do, the way Dubb handled it is what the real issue is here. A simple 'No im keeping the ring' would have done, but the fould language, and the smugness - and then selling the ring on the condition the buyer gloats it over PMs is, IMO, not on at all.

As someone who used to run to the depths of the likes of ZTKR to get people's stuff for them when they died - in all honesty, you died, you lost something, that's the game.

Some people will give them back to you, others won't. Learn from the experience. You're going to lose lots of stuff, everyone does at some point or another. And when you do, and it's through something like this, you do things differently the next time.

this isnt about griefing in any way. its about ... someone got my ring. wont give it back and laughed at my misfortune (said a naughty word!) .. so i want them banned.

people are dicks sometimes, you get on with your life. if you get bothered by what someone said on an online game. dont play an online game on a private server. man up.

if everyone made posts like this whenever a similar incident happened then the forum would be full of them.

i believe someone has already offered to give him a titan ring on this thread. so basically all he had to do was tell his friends/guild what happened and they would have given him a new one.
