Exp changes for levels 44+

I see the server team are spending alot of time trying to come up with ways to improve the server.. I think drastically changimg the exp needed for each level after 44 would be the best place to start. Since reaching level 44, I havnt been lvling once.. People dont want to spend 5 hours a day on a private server only to see there % increase by 5.

Personally I think it takes a massive aspect of the game away.. I dont mind the odd grinding session, but 3-4 weeks of solid lvling for 1 level is too much!

I agree exp at 44+ is too slow 1-2% an hour max is really too slow this is main thing holding back the progression of the server as once ppl hit 44 that's it most ppl stop lvling if ppl stop lvling they stop wanting to get higher lvl skills and kit etc makes them stop playing.

I'm all for this, but also a change in exp from 1-33 would also bring players back as they would be more interested in rerolling if what they played at first they do not enjoy and just didn't have time to change.

As we the exp after 44, we are still to decide if we should change the exp (this would cause a few players to jump some levels) or if the new high level caves we are working on will give exp for the amount that is needed now.

Having much much higher exp new caves seems like it would be the best option for consistency and enjoyment. Not only does the server stay consistent but it also adds a new place for players to play and grind. This would also as a by product make 0-44 faster because the exp is that much easier to get, bringing in more new players without making the higher levels seem super far away.

Surely by making the new areas like that you would be making every other place on the server redundant though?

Leveling wise I would agree, but generally speaking the introduction of new content often makes the older stuff at least somewhat redundant (ie. few people are farming bone elites, ghouls etc).
They could also have a hybrid of the two ideas, requires 44+ for the new places and then they can keep the 1.5X exp boost for 0-33, much like the level restriction for PB.

This is actually a very good idea, making the higher exp areas level requirement wouldn't take certain leveling areas out of the game, and would also motivate people to level up

and then in those higher level area's, increase the drop rate (not like PB) for the higher level books instead of that crafting nonsense.

Change exp after 44! :) hardly any players would jump a level, it's not like a advantage for any 1 players it's same for everyone!

44-45 100mill
45-46 160mill
46-47 230mill
47-48 310mill
48-49 400mill

Not that much of a diff to current exp req,
with this slight change not a lot of people would "jump a level"
Exp actually would be the same as the current exp around lvl50 jus with a smaller exp jump to start slowly getting bigger

Exp needed at 49 = 560mill as it is?
Exp needed at 49 from
What I suggested would be 500mill so evens out around 50 but with slow but steady increases

change exp required after 44 back to normal, increase server wide exp to x4 instead of current x2.
this is the only way youll ever see ppl reach lvl 55 or higher

Ok? What about the people who spent 100hours lvling, that same exp could be earnt in half the time if they change the rate, where as if the change exp req per early then no1 would loose out jus get it added onto what they have already done

What about the people who have spent 100's of hours hunting bosses, for them to change the drops instantly and make it all for nothing?

I haven't spoken to BH about releasing the 44+ exp restriction, so none of this is concrete, however, I only put that exp restriction in as a potentially temporary blocker as some folk were out leveling by drastic amounts and in all honesty I was failing to keep up with how much the community is dedicated to Mir lol.

My plan/thought process is:
- Create a mechanism for post 50 that changes the current style and is more enjoyable.
- Release the current 44 restriction
- Increase exp at low levels (This is more BH's idea, but I think the idea is to up exp up to a specific level)

Unfortunately problems/bugs/cheaters have been taking presidency over adding new features, so this has been delayed longer than I ever wanted it to be, but I am getting the ball rolling on this and would expect to see this in sooner rather than later.

Yup I was one of those wasting time with boss's jus dnt wanna be loosing out on time grinded for exp either,

im suggesting both, while ur cryin cos u already spent 1 million hourse grinding for pennies of exp think how much more ur gonna have to grind to reach lvl 50 if they dont.
they have items and content meant for lvl 60+, think anyone is EVER gonna get to that point with exp the way it is now?
