Pb - not so safe zone

I would like to suggest the addition of a few guards around the PB safe zone. There is nothing worse than going for a quick loo break after a few hours of hard levelling to find your character dead in the middle of the safe zone.

I don't feel rival guilds should be allowed to use sneaky tactics such as mass luring/ waiting on pets untaming within the safe zone.

There was a post about this before, the answer was to use the generals tent i believe. It's happening in alot of safezones and its not fair, but its mir!

Just in response to that, there was also a post complaining about wizards letting their pets untame inside shops and killing afkers XD So you can't win...

But yeah, PAST Bichon doesn't have guards for a reason!!!

The "safe" in "Safe zone" refers to safety from being PKed. Unless you get "X has murdered you" while afking in SZ it's working as intended. If you don't like it hide in a remote shop or have your guild take SW and hide in the palace.

I appreciate the feedback, I hadn't heard about the generals tent although the pets being untamed is also a good point. So perhaps a better alternative could be looked at. Not a major concern but a definite improvement that could be made.

Like logging instead of being afk?
Only reason not to log is if you have levelled pets. If you keep having to go afk during your mir play then maybe PB is not the right place for you.
If you are 40+ and have to go afk a lot then use the timesstone to get to PB from PI, DO NOT GO TO TOWN rt away and then when you TT you go to PI town.
PB is like it is for a reason. It's always been like this.
That Mir is full of low lifes is a separate matter. I expect they give you mouthfuls of abuse if you rescue anyone, dont let them kill you or you kill the mobs they lured. Just thank them for the exp.

It doesn't matter how many guards you have Lol because the guards do not attack the AI mobs that spawn outside town that's where the problem is.

The amount of times I seen pets untame and kill people afk on euro not once did I see anyone complain yet on this server it seems to be such a bad thing.

Not sure why people are such crybabies these days.

These days? I am completely new to this game and found it annoying. Hardly a cry thread, I was simply highlighting this as a suggestion.

What about wizards who have tamed and levelled pets then need a piss break. Relogging means they have to waste precious time retaming all because of idiots luring.

Oh and btw I'm an assassin, but that's just a wee example of how annoying and timewasting this can also be for other classes.

Go afk in a shop. The same applies to all Taos, nearly always. Not a problem. Find a remote place to AFK if you're afraid of being lured on.. unless you pissed a few Wizzies off and they're explicitly hunting you down nobody will untame pets on you in, say, BW clothes shop, bottom left corner.

Or, as has been said (maybe in another thread) afk in TV SZ within range of guards (I think​ there are guards within range of a SZ there), nothing there could be lured to kill people over level 20 in SZ + guards will nuke pets, tamed or untamed.

Butcher/hairdresser/tavern(& inner) or even those small houses around store in BW.

bookshop/store in MW.

Countless places hardly anyone goes and can't be lured on as for the wizards/taos wanting afk while going a 1/2 or 3 you take that chance when you decide to leave the game still running.

Couldn't have been pets as the guards in Castle Gi kill pets and what mobs could kill a level 40 here?

Unless someone lured BDD mobs maybe from the cave entrance?

I know that mobs have been lured from the entrance but also that mobs spawn inside the town. A few fighters some red and green poison an sfb or 2 and yr dead to mobs.
Why didn't you log out wjen you know that this kind of thing happens

BDD entrance mobs. They're mission mobs ("special", for the quests) and guards don't kill mission mobs (I have no clue why this is so).

You take the risk by going afk people should know it's not safe, every other game is the same (unless they cash hungry and have safe mode for cash per hour)

Or why not just make it carebear non PvP all PvE?
