hi im new to this server and i just downloaded the mirchronicles patcher from the website and i start running it
it needs to download 2642 files but after 1 file fully ( downloaded) buttom green bar full it just stops ( stuck )
file name is Data/cboeffect.wzl
i tried reopening and it just became stuck again and again on same file

pls help i dont know what to do

i did run as admin and it keeps getting stuck on 2638 files now and i kept it open the whole night lol

wtf still dont know what to do when i redownloaded the patcher do a diff station it worked but now it just stops at 2638 files.....

its like im fighting a war for this download lol

Hi all, finally getting round to downloading this. The patched keeps getting stuck on data/cbohum3.wzl, I’ve seen it mentioned a few times on here but no answer as to getting round it – any advice?

Also the patcher is all off centre so the user count is about 5cm over to the right of the background image it should be on…

I'm getting "Disconnected from server" as soon as I put id/PW in.

!debug.txt in the Logger folder has this for today (and every day I tried to connect from work):

7/7/2014 7:46:00 PM Incorrect Date Formate: 07/07/2014 19:46:00, expecting: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss
7/7/2014 7:47:18 PM Incorrect Date Formate: 07/07/2014 19:47:18, expecting: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss
7/7/2014 7:49:24 PM Incorrect Date Formate: 07/07/2014 19:49:24, expecting: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss
07/07/2014 07:52:26 Incorrect Date Formate: 07/07/2014 19:52:26, expecting: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss

The last one is after I changed the date format to exactly what it said it's expecting, no help.

I can navigate any conceivable internet website, so I'm definitely bypassing the company firewall.

Please help, I'm on the late shift and got nothing to do for 5 hours out of the day

Solution:
Open the PatchClient.ini and change the host from "ftp" to "http":

[AutoPatcher]
Host=http://162.243.83.44/NewPatcher/
Username=
Password=

Also are you sure you are using the latest patch exe file

Am still looking into this
But from looking at the error log, it seems the date formate on your work system does not match with what the server wants and is kicking you out.

It is expecting: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss
Might be a stupid question but what region and location is your work system set to?

The Access Violation error doesn't appear in every log file where as the date formatting error does. This isn't hindering my game play and obviously this is working correct if there is an idle time out as these logs only seem to fill on the disconnection just curious though.

I got it to work somehow.. no idea how. Was set to US (English), I switched it to Romanian (which had the dd.mm.yyyy format), changed date format for Ro to the one Mir seems to be expecting (dd/mm/yyyy), still didn't take, reset Romanian back to its default and a bit later it works.

Can that error appear when I'm missing a file or two? I hadn't run the patcher for about 3-4 weeks, but I ran it after I reset Ro date settings to default and let it download a few files, then managed to launch from Mir.exe. It still needs to download a ton (not starting with audio.pak), but it's working at 384 Bps (not a typo), so I let it be.

i've got this problem since the Chronicles server opened first time... when my mouse cursor gets top right corner it gets stuck there ...pain to get cursor out there....then happens again and again lol

This might be a local issue related to yourself as we have had no other reports of anything like this and just tested on my system and it does not happen.

Are you sure the pointer is stuck and just not off screen.
