lvl cap = dead server. Enjoy. Keep bursting top players and no lifers.

Level cap = No more grinding for exp, just pure bosses and pvp, it also means new players would likely to join knowing they can reach everyone eles, problem lies for the team, they need to add content to do for when people do cap otherwise i imagine a few getting bored and quitting until cap raised.

It's the best idea i seen from this server, should of had it from the start.

From my testing players will not gain exp or levels but I can not be 110% sure of this as I can not test it on the live server.

The way the exp cap was done all the exp from level 44-50 was moved around between the levels and not adjusted per say, so the exp needed to get to 50 from 44 is the same amount just some levels needed more then others. The way I adjusted it means that the exp is now shared out more evenly.

one of the unique things about mir was no lvl cap, to put one in breaks one of the game fundamentals, this is how we arrived at the b/s situation we are in now with the exp.

so on the exp thing... it means anyone not upto 44 has less exp to do than the ppl who have already done it?and so forth?
and those who have done it, gain nothing?

As an example
The exp need for

Level 44 = 200000
Level 45 = 50000
Level 46 = 60000

Doesn't really make sense, why would level 45/46 be less than 44?

Can you show an example with real current exp levels cause i would like to see how this would work

Because on the live server one level was over triple the required exp for the level before it and the levels after it where lower then the normal required exp for that level.

Your thinking single level while I have to think global.

TBH if you do not understand the example able then live numbers from the server are not going to help but I will post them later anyway.

At the end of the day people play to enjoy the game...some people enjoy grinding levels some enjoy bosses....each patch you done have made drops easier not thinking of people who grinded the bosses, I Dont see why you shouldn't just leave people who are 44+ at the level and percent they are now, even after this exp change, they enjoyed the grind

So just one level is greater ? I did not know this, what a strange thing to implement .. no wonder bullpit is flying! I was under the impression every level after 44+ was tripled.

I am just adjusting the exp back to normal.
The player who leveled past 44 had one hard level and then all the rest past that where easier then they should have been.

When the exp is adjusted players will have normal exp for 43-44 and normal ( higher then before) from 44+

To be fair this is the best way of doing it and the fairest way for everybody.

Why are people in such a state about exp and levels?
there are levellers. they level anyway cap or no cap
there are the driven, got to be ahead they will level anyway
there are the ones that just want to go bosses and pvp
there are the ones who hunt with mates cos they are stuck in the house - many reasons for this - time passing/social/ better than tv
there are the levelling services
there are biked team shared characters
Have I missed any? That's 5 who will hunt or level anyway and 1 that prefers not to wants to pvp.
Casual players usually accept that they aren't going to be the ones doing the hardest bosses soonest or be in the top 50 levellers but I reckon theres far more of them than the play lots of hours mo

People expecting to gain extra levels and percent are just idiots. It's like give the people that killed bosses before the drops changed free items.

You all know what you are getting out of it when you do it. You shouldn't be getting something different after you have already past it.

A lot of people going to quit because they are not going to be able to dash/repulse all but 1% of the server? Get a grip you can always put more time in. You already have a higher level than the "real life hard workers" so you still have that advantage just go put some more "ingame hard work" in while we are at our jobs.

I think he might be referring to the exp increase per level,

Steps up 110m, then 80, 80, 80

It sounds like he'd change it to something along the lines of 50m, 75m, 100m, 125m as it's still an increase in 350m.

That's just an example and I'm sure his would extend to 50 :)

Its less then double and I also said possible exp (I am still trying to work it all out to make it fair for everyone)

Some players will move exp between the levels of 44-47 ie if you are level 44 with 90000000 exp then with the adjustments you are level 45 with 10000000 exp but it all balances out in the end as the total exp needed to get to level 50 will be the same for players before and after the adjustments.

What do you mean by refund, exp does not work that way, you will still have gained the same amount of exp so will have not lost anything so there is nothing to refund
