Server is nice. All play the free game and people should respect Chronicles Teams. They had them real life and can always deal some problems. It is very difficult for other server.

Maybe I was a bit too harsh and negative but pretty much everything I said in that post is true about certain issues and features of the server are all correct it just does not have enough Fun aspects to it not enough PVP features to keep ppl interested I think

You might not want to hear this but the two longest lasting servers recently were not pvp servers.

Talkin to anyone the way ppl do on this forum(not just u davey) would earn you a serious beating in my local and to be sacked from almost anywhere I ever worked if you spoke to other staff like that all the time and instantly if it was a client.

But this is the internet, running this server isn't a job so everything you've said is irrelevant.

Like I said if someone spoke to anyone in my local like that they would end up hurt. >>>>>> Not a work situation
Being on the internet isnt an excuse to act like a character from a bad soap about low life trailer trash or estate kids.

You are typing to irl people and no its not their job but yr a service user and the ones that act like people instead of poison with a mouth get much more co operation.

You should know on the internet that people literally don't give a horseshit about others. I know it'd be nice if people had some sort of decency in them but people on the internet are far away from going to provide you it and you'd be a moron for thinking people actually would. Although it would be nice if it was possible.

Why would any1 be greatful? Whats wrong with you people. Saying a "good job" to a gm about a proper update/change is good since its feedback but...greatful? Seriously?

Its not like they get nothing out of it. They either get money off donations or the satisfaction of a high usercount or whatever else they do it for. They certainly dont do it for charity to be greatful for.

Im not saying the above in a bad way im just saying them the way it is. ANY server is a business no matter if it includes a lot money or a few money or just some personal achievement/satisfaction. So treat it like one and treat the players as clients no matter if they pay for it or they just raise the usercount (which is as good as money one way or another).

yeah yr right. but so is he.
Fortunately its changing a bit because there's more "grown ups" on the net now not just their kids.
Why not learn now that really successful people treat others well, get what they want without ranting and shouting and building resentment. People skills.
Ranting swearing aggression gets you grudging minimal service. Treat people well you get co operation and they will go the extra bit to help which is much better

Because nobody is paying them to provide you any updates. You think bandwidth and 24/7 remote server maintenance + hardware repairs + the initial hardware cost are all free?

And the money from gameshop go to children in Africa? Or you think a usercount of 600 at start dropping to 200 from what i read now wont provide enough donations to cover that?

If they dont provide enough updates their user count would drop and guess what. They do care about their usercount (im not in position to tell why could be money could be like i said the "feeling" of having best server online or w/e else) else they would have released files and some1 would have made at least a high rate.

Ye man lets stick together and support the effort behind a euro clone with a gameshop.

Its obvious this server was done for the sake of the world. When their grandkids ask them about what have they done to the world they will be like "I created and run Chronicles to make world a better place"

You're coming across as really bitter and I honestly have no idea why o_0 End of the day it was a post to thank a team, there is honestly no need for people who disagree to voice the fact they disagree, multiple threads created outside of this would prove some people disagree.

Again it's a positive thread, why people find the urge to try and say "oh well why the **** should we be greatful" is beyond me. I get people have a voice but you don't always have to use it.

But this is the internet, running this server isn't a job so everything you've said is irrelevant.

Any server owner, will tell you it feels like a job, it drains you, you put a lot of work into it and multiple hours, you rinse you repeat. Only difference is you may or may not get paid. (Talking gameshop wise).

Agreed, running a server is VERY time consuming, very stressful and does feel like a job

A lot of love for this post.

Let's not push the Chronicles team to abandonning ship, you've got a lot of loyal players here that look up to your continued updates.

Much love.
