Hi guys,

I have been casually playing for nearly two weeks and wondered if any of the more experienced players can give a noob a little advice on leveling.

Im currently a level 23 warrior and wondered where I should focus on leveling.

If someone could tell me the best places for cash, XP and drops would find this helpful.

Cheers

Malbec

Hi mal, I'd say bug cave till level 28-30 or so (whenever you can wield dragonsword), then from there go to prajnastonecave. Both of those caves have regular mini mass drops which include a few thousand gold and real eviltongs in bug cave drop very well if you're lucky :)

warriors seem like a grind till level 32, once you're there you could probably tackle BDD 1st or numa with a Taoist for faster exp.

Yep bc or st for 26 or 28 then try psc but its a big drain on gold. If u can dual play a tao and you can do psc at 26 nice and easy with the heals :) worked well for me until 32 when I actually had to push A button lol

Stick with BC until 30, doing the repeatable quest from the board that will net you some nice cash along with drops from in there, once you're 30 go PSC and do the repeatable there until 33 then PB becomes the best exp, it's expensive but you should have a nice amount saved up from the BC/PSC quests so you can just spam there til 40+

Thanks for your advice guys, I had tried ST but @ 23/24 the piggies hit quite hard so pots were becoming expensive! although strangely I found it easier to take down a White Evil Boar than an Evil tong! very strange since BC is lower lvl you would think ET would be easier to kill.

I look forward to being able to press a button and spam a skill @ 32!

There's a guide thing in the guild group section if you cba to look/read it. Posts from a few ppl
Don't solo its much much more efficient in a group.

Do the quests
Do the repeatable quests
Quests give u better items as rewards sometimes. Take you to every cave so u can see which you like to play and which are most efficient with regards to the amount of pots dura used in return for exp and gold gained.
Press Q to see your quests and the SHOWMORE button >>>>> side bottom of that screen to find out where to get more
Read it make a note of the npc that gave it to you and where to hand it in.

BC aint bad as people have already said, But from mid 20's I found Prajna Island better. Its set up for warriors to lvl solo.

Ronin Ghoul and Toxic Ghoul seem to spawn together as a pair most of the time, and the Toxic will usually attack from behind the Ronin, which means thrusting will see you kill them both at around the same speed, making exp gain far more efficient.

You also have Frost Tigers which can be good droppers, and Toxics can drop the Poison Cloud book which I believe is still worth a fairly substantial amount.

Just try to stay clear of the spider areas of PI, as they aren't good exp and are annoying.

Generally if you stay on the coast and go right round the island, you'll never run out of mobs, and find an occasional Frost Tiger too.

When I lvled Warr and timed exp in various places, PI was the fastest by a fairly big margin because of all the Thrusting, until 32 when you can hit BDD with a Tao or PT for mino's

Don't do quests horrible advice they use to be worth it for the item but that was before the shops had better items. Warriors are awefully boring til 32 getting boosted is really recommended but then again im coming from the time when great axes where rare and dragon sword was 15 mil

And for a complete newcomer, trying the quests so you visit every cave and hunt there is a good idea. And some of the items are still better for lower levels who don't want to spend much gold and wont be that low for long anyway. You can discard the quests if you decide they aren't worth it.

You see, one of them says one thing someone else has a different idea. It comes down to where you like hunting. If its more of a chore to go ST cos you don't like the map/mobs/scenery/sounds then don't go there even if its the most efficient place for exp/gold/items.
Do the repeatable quests to get gold.

Hey mate,
I forgot to say to you yesterday, a good guild to start in are Dunedain, pm /SirTwist to see if he will have you.
They also hold no grudges with people who look to move onto "end game" guilds.
Dunedain were an essential part of my game development on an alt but the play style no longer suits.
great guys tho.

Thanks, I'll speak to Twist later and see if they fancy adopting me ;-), are they just a social guild as ideally that's what I'm after, I could never play enough hours to be hardcore!
