Whats your opinion on shift leveling an alt char, opening multiple clients?

I got a visit from babyhack 5minutes ago, while shifting my wizard with my warrior leveling, wiz on laptop and war on this desktop.

I was told its a form of botting, and not risk the ban.

But, i have seen many people do it, from many different guilds. hence where i got the idea.

If opening another client while playing on one is botting, then opening clients on same pc, miners, ppl with wiz+tao killing bosses, ppl running multiple chars to Evilmir for the pot run.

I like the work that you have done BabyHack, but coming online and saying "risk of a banning" i found abit rude, without any clear warnings.

Please elaborate on the rules.

If i get a ban for doing what i have done, then i believe the same should be put on others.
I believe over 50% of active user count uses this method,

i would like to know the servers views, i have names of alot of people i have seen do it, in KR's for bosses, leveling and mining. But im not a snitch.

I also never said you where getting banned, I warned you that the anti bot system had flagged you (It has been upgraded)

We know people do it, I (me) do not really like it and TBH (and this is only me) I do not think it is the right way to play the game.

Again at no point did I say it would get you banned, I said the system flagged you up

i can put screen shots up off our conversation if need confirmation of what was said by yourself.

please confirm if im allowed to continue or not.

There is no rule on it.
The anti bot system flagged you, it is that simple, I went to have a look as to why you where flagged

My above post said I did not like it and that I do not think it is the right way to play the game but that is my opinion.

It is afk leveling in a way as you are not in full control of the other char.
As I have said I do not like it but I never said you would get banned for it, I said the system flagged you

the only reason i want a definate answer is, im wanting to get exp pots on my wiz,archer, tao and war. If its bannable i will only get exp pots on warrior.

That is why im asking for definate answer for this weekend. i have booked friday and monday off, (over due holidays- ties in nicely).

The post was edited to fix spelling and as not to double post (what has that got to do with anything)

Anyway this has been answered so thread closed.

You will not get banned for doing it but it is not in the correct spirit of playing the game.

This is why we have a manual step in our fight against bot automation and why we don't immediately ban ... Because there is always an edge case!
