As a skill that lowers your dps when you use it (unlike tdb), it should work every time in PVE, so you don't have to use it over and over and over again and by the time it works you have already killed the monster you are attacking. Or make it more powerful when it actually does work.

I don't think it can be increased any further for PVE - given that it freezes most mobs to the spot it would be extremely overpowered if it worked everytime.

PVP again - if you want 20% guaranteed damage boost take a tao with red?

It doesn't stun most mobs like it used to lol. Same with static shock. As the game has progressed into higher level dungeons we've seen yellow be less and less effective

Flashdash is shocking even agaisnt mid range mobs barely even works and takes alot dps away from caster by doing it redundant spell imo

I think the point is that as the game progresses the spell becomes less and less useful for the "stun" portion of it and the only reason for use becomes the 20% dmg bonus which is useless if you have to interrupt a pile of casts to get it to proc thus losing dps.

Possibilities?
1.make it 100% or near too against monsters not players, this would make it useful again
2.Make it more powerful when it does work (worst option in my opinion)
3.Make it work in between double slashes, so it has no cooldown, and then you basically have to manually time pressing the skill key to use it between double slashes in order to get the proc effect without losing dps. The skill hits for like 20 damage so this would not end up in being much of a damage increase but would add an element of skill and some fun by being able to press more buttons more often on sin.

From my experience, flashdash was everything when levelling. It works on hell mobs and most orc mobs save for slasher, hunter and dinorider. It makes a MASSIVE difference in terms of the HP pots you use.

In PvP assassins swing so much damage I just never used it, unless we were standing and it was a slogging match.

Also ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid as the game progresses should a sub level 20skill stay completely relevant and beneficial?

poison, heal, tdb, double slash the list goes on, a lot of skills do not go irrelevant, they are main parts of the "tool kit" for that class.

Warriors turn slaying off because it hinders their damage.
Sin doesn't have to turn flashdash off they just don't use it if they don't see the benefits.

Its still very powerful and beneficial the way it is.
I use maximum of 2 flashdash per mob, 1 on opening to try and freeze it, the second if the first fails or if my first 2-3 hots are low damage ones.

I then spam it against a boss so that the whole group gain an additional 20% damage.

It has its uses.

Sadly missing the point of the thread. It is not a question of if the skill can be usefull in some situations, its that it is a skill that can work or completely fail over and over again while interrupting dps while the counter part class has the exact same effect built into there main damage dealer......Take a look at the list of suggestions there to get an idea of what could be done to help.
