Converting Archers from DC to MC

I really didn't want this to become a flame thread of any sort. I wanted this to be about improving the server and getting feedback on the Archer Class/Stat Balance, however, I won't be able to live with myself if I don't tell Hokus right now that he is; an illiterate, self centered, moronic, retardation of humanity without a single redeeming quality.

This isn't about 'Team Trolls' - it's about a whole servers opinion, we love in a democratic world mate, not everything will always go the way you want it to.

We are allowed an opinion that's the beauty of a forum , as for my qualities they are plentiful ty , not being a shrinking violet is one of them.
My main is a wiz, always will be .I honestly feel wizzers get a rough deal on this server until end game and for that reason I ll always speak up .No need to change anything surely more important things to concentrate on ,fact.

The problem is that some players are a lot faster than other and this gives the impression of a bigger gap in balance than what actually exists.

A wiz should never die to a war of the same speed regardless of kit.
Hit and run, Utility spells like Fwall, Frost crunch come into play, Diving in with a few FF's once they are slowed etc etc.
People that are fast can dive in FF step FF step FF without getting hit once. That's where the balance breaks and most of the OP threads come from.
Wiz are OP vs single target when they shouldn't be but that's for another thread.

Why would you be standing next to a warrior in the first place? I guess this explains why you're fundamentally going so wrong as a Wizard. Magic Shield is actually overpowered, a skilled wizard (FlameField / Proxu for example)is able to toe to toe a warrior and out tank them with FF and sunpots, this should never be the case. If you want to play a ranged class, expect to die when you get hit by a melee class. It's pretty simple.

I think my point was more aimed towards Hocus.
If he is trying to get next to someone and FF kill them without being faster then them, then its a flawed tactic.
As Crazy said, You dont toe to toe a melee class as a ranged class.
Problem is that some wizards can do this, Through OKR's, game speed and the OPness of FF w/MB.

As a sin I attacked a 50 wiz. MS up + OKR I needed 4(8) Hits to kill them if they were not potting. they needed 2 casts of FF if i was not potting,
They could out sun my damage, I could not out Sun their damage.
That's close range and them not even moving.... that's a problem.

You are an idiot. Mir would be so much better for MOST users if it was a level playing field, if the mechanics of the game were changed to make it fairer for everyone then true skill would prevail.

I never needed them. Used them twice when outnumbered 10 to 1 or more versus curse10 who i knew a few members were using. Just cause you've used them doesn't make you one. Drugs can be recreational why not cheats? Half the server was usin em. Point is no one ever was able to prove it until I publicly said something.

Why don't we all wear the same kit, have the same skills and all be the same level? "True skill" will prevail. Jesus, you'd never think this was a competitive game.

Of course there would be more skill, having more speed is a slight unfair advantage to another player, if everyone was the same speed then it's a fairer fight thus the most skilful player wins.

Everyone has the same chance to work for their kits and improve them, if someone with better kit kills you, that's not anyone else's fault but your own for not working hard enough.

I try to attack generally by running away ...I'm good at that...trouble is so many team warrs are faster than me . God knows why I'm on an uber PCwith 150mb con..so I ff while running not toe to toe that's silly..
