[Added in 1.9.9.0] Go to BW to Leave Guild

Well, I figured seeing as you have to go to BW palace to start a guild and to start a war, you should have to go to BW palace to leave guild too.

This would stop people griefing and typing @leaveguild before dying which is happening constantly. I believe it's why Citrix no longer has luck7 dsword.

You can't plan for these things even with cursepots. The video I posted in the guild section also displays Cursing from someone TTing as they die (even if it was an accident) I feel this needs fixing too.

If we can remove the ways people can grief each other in-game, then you'll actually start getting some decent fights - nobody will have to worry about cursing due to grief.

Well fixing guild wars also needs doing, have still had unlimited wars going on after the "fix"

sounds like a brilliant idea, as for greifing/accidental PK can it not be made that deaths on alternate maps do not count? Woild it be simple as putting in a check before curse/points are given?

adding a function for townteleports to give the player an instant hp restore buff(could be minor) after use would be a simple quick fix solution to prevent players dying in the safezone.

As Koriban said, if you had to go to BW palace to leave a guild, you wouldn't have this problem.

Seeing as though nothing happens to people who grief like this, it leaves it open to people doing it all the time.

If you do not want to curse your weapon, change your model to peace.

Its not about getting curse legitimately. thats fine thats part of the game.

Getting a curse because someone @leaveguild during a fight needs fixing - good fix to go to the palace to leave guild. like that idea.

As for death on TT - this is a separate issue to the @leaveguild issue and a perfect fix would to make all SafeZones guild war zones (so names are blue/orange) but still cannot take damage. so you can die upon TT but it wont be a "white/brown" area it'll be a "blue/orange" area.

Would it be possible to add some code so that players can't leave their guild whilst fighting? Maybe that would be the easiest option? Saying that, I guess there's the element of someone getting attacked without fighting back.. just a thought.

I guess we could make it so the @leaveguild command won't work during wars, although I think a time between wars might be necessary to stop another guild constantly warring so people can't leave lol.

I would just restrict it to safe zones.

I mean you changed joining from having to face the leader to be anywhere on any map. I'm sure restricting leaving to a SZ is well within your capabilities =)

Why change something to appease team again ...totally agree with rainstone..if you want to kill/pk then accept there is a risk simples..griefing is part of mir ..team know this as they do it plenty...all this action will do is allow them to protect their already OP luck 7 weapons with constantly warring guilds 24/7 .Please put cooldown on warring guilds... 24 hours should do it
