Is this possible?

So guild A wars guild B, is there a way or somewhere we can view how many kills, who killed who etc.

I think this would be great!

Thoughts?

I don't see why not, doesn't this apply in Evil Mir?

Yeah em kr has this, however it didn't work when team/forsaken had the scrap in there. But hopefully it could work regardless of what map it was on.

Really wanna see who gets kill as well, annoys me how u can't see in war, normal brown pk u get the message protected by etc but nothing in war.

Really wanna see ssgohan killed Depress (wishful thinking haha)

Love this idea. It was discussed a while back but guess it fell off the radar. Would be good to see this in game though, at least just for boss maps

Can't wait to see "BadBoy was killed by LonelyDoom via Arrow Barrage".

I like the idea - but do you not think that it will just cause an increase in e-peen and victimisation ?

Yes pal, but as I believe there is going to be a new banter section this would be epic. I just want this so I can claim kills in fights I hate not knowing who got the kill :) plus this way a guild could claim victory in a war with kills.

Guild A 34 kills guild B 21 kills

Really want this put in ASAP if poss since it seems Sabuk is going to be a long way away

Maybe you didn't read the first 4 words of my post - or maybe you like choosing what to read to suit your needs.

As I say, I like the idea in principle - just worried some people might use it to increase their wannabe e-peens. Already when we have a fight, we have a screenshot or video up within an hour or so of it and then a slagging off matches proceeds.

I just don't want this to cause more agro than there already is on the forums. The general atmosphere on here is already pushing away new players.

Sorry but the general atmosphere on here is there is NO atmosphere .. it's pushing away current players. We want a forum that we can express our opinions without getting a locked thread/infraction

As with any other competitive game play (take football for example) .. you have 2 sides (or more) that will argue/dislike/be unreasonable with, because they want their side to be the best, it doesn't really matter who is correct.

As I say to my Messi loving friend - Ronaldo is better.

There is an atmosphere on here. And its not a nice one. Almost every thread turns into a slagging match between the same groups of players. They treat threads like they're personal hate output portals.

I know of several people who have wanted to start playing, and a quick glance at the forum has put them off. I agree banter is good fun, but you give people an inch and they take a mile.

I wouldn't mind the screenshot posts - if what followed wasn't a god awful advert for the type of players that play the server. And the ****er of it is - they only make up the minority of the people who actually DO play.

The screenshot threads could be good fun, and some light hearted banter between opponents - but, without exception, they always end up a 'he said/she said' or 'he bough/she bought' or some other form of trolling/baiting.

As I say, I like the idea of the kill counter, and stats - and it could indeed add some good value to the server.

Can I ask you why you think this is a bad thing ? What's wrong with a slagging match, trolling and baiting? It happens in the game, nothing bad happens. Nobody gets banned. Someone gets offended ? So what, they're offended. Nothing happens.

Forums should be no different. So long as it doesn't go into personal terms and/or racism (this is where moderation should be happening)

The problem occurs on many different levels. main ones are
1) in game, there is a very limited audience to what you say - its 'in game'. On the forums, it is a public domain, where ALL can see
problem 1 causes

1a) Different people take offence at different things, what might seem trivial to you, can be a major offene to someone else
1b) The forums are the 'face' of the game - bantering and good humour is just that - good. But trolling baiting and flaming? That just puts people off of joining. I dont mind it too much in a seperate section - but on the main forums ther should be no place for it.

2) The rubbish that gets posted invariably derails the thread, meaning the true meaning/reason for the thread gets lost.

These are the 2 main reason that come to the top of my head - there are many many more. If you want to troll/bait/flame - do it in the less moderated guild section - but just remember there are limits there too!

Anyway, no more on this, and keep the topic on track RE: a guild war kill counter :)

1) Agree, however this is a public domain aimed at specific people - ie. the same people who are in game, so this is redundant

1a) Agree again, so what's the problem? I'm offended by the way you and others moderate here, does that mean i'm correct? Or will you just be offended that I think that? Being offended is not a bad thing. Nothing happens to you.

1b) I'm hoping you are not new to mir, correct? People come here knowing full well what they are getting themselves into, having either played euro or other private mir servers - you are very very rarely going to get a new person here. People join this game for the competition and all the trolling/baiting/flaming that comes with it, having experienced it before on said servers.

2) That's fair enough, if it was say a post that BH, Sam or yourself have posted, asking for viable information. But 95% of the time it's a user thread which doesn't really have to have a meaning or point. So the thread gets derailed or off track? So what? People want to come here and read stuff when they are at work or can't log in game.. let them.

The guild section is a step forward (y) .. It' still too heavily moderated though.

No more on this okay, I don't want an infraction .. even though it was you who went off topic ;) .. ohh I went there :P

I see both points. Easy think to do is to have a new section called banter for all these threads that are slightly monitored for lomcn rules only. Let banter be banter if ppl want to attack each let them.

Either way alot of the current Base play mir for bosses and pvp. I am one of these players. I have not been on alot recently and just thinking without sw we need something to brag about ASAP.
