So I know you guys are working on adding skill crafting, which is great for casuals like me who don't play all the time. I have put some thought into something different than just skill crafting.

Dungeons(instanced):

So once a day you can do an instanced dungeon, you could revamp places like Wooma Temple, Zuma Temple, Prajna Temple to start off with, make them a small(ish) 3 floor dungeon where you cannot go to the next floor without clearing your current floor. The boss at the end has an average drop, think runes, benes and torches, nothing game breaking but also grants you 1 Justice Point(using WoW as an example)

These Justice Points can then be used to purchase character bound spell books/equipment. However the down side is, these items cannot be gemmed, cannot be repaired and break on death.

Example Items:

Give them no sale value and they cannot be repaired.

BoundlessRing(JP) - DC 0-8 Dura 6/6 "Breaks on death, Cannot be gemmed" - Cost's 10 Justice Point
ThunderRing(JP) - MC 0-6 Dura 5/5 "Breaks on death, Cannot be gemmed" - Cost's 10 Justice Point
TaeGukRing(JP) - DC0-2 SC 0-6 Dura 5/5 "Breaks on death, Cannot be gemmed" - Cost's 10 Justice Point

Possibly they could be lower dura too, so they don't last for too long on ranged classes.

Spells could cost 30 Justice Point, this way you only get 1 spell every 30 days, I believe it was planned spell crafting would take a month per craft anyway.

You could even make benes and torches for Justice Points, but of course character bound when bought.

These daily instanced Dungeons alone would make me log on everyday and give casuals a boss to kill each day!

I'm pretty sure most people will disagree with this suggestion, but since I have played more than just Mir I find aspects from other games very enjoyable and would increase the enjoyment Mir has to offer to the casual side of the community who don't get to boss very often.

I agree, I think there are several elements from other games that would improve Mir which would cater for different people, whether it's pve/pvp related or just general ones. I do like this idea but it would need a lot of thought behind it, definitely a good idea for those who are unable to play often and aren't in the top guilds so struggle to get the top end items/skills but then you need to think about the knock on effect this would have on the community/market and anything else I might have missed.

Be interesting to see what others think.

I like the idea, reminds me of a server I played a while back I think it was called Elysium. Basically everyone was level 50 and every mob had 1 exp so that you couldn't level. The whole aim of the game was to boss and pvp. There were items that were common but break on death and items that weren't so common and didn't break on death.

There was also raids like you mentioned, a 2-3 floor dungeon full of mobs where you had to clear each floor before continuing onto the next. Some would just be 1 floor but at certain checkpoints there would be a boss and as you progress the bosses would increase in difficulty. Also there was one raid where you had a chest and if you opened the wrong one you would be taken out of the raid or you would be given a timer to complete the rest of the raid (easily exploitable if someone cleared the floor then opened the chest - in this case there was 2 floors so you would have to quickly get through floor 2 as well without dying to get the end boss.

Different difficulty raids required different teams.
e.g. easy - 3man,
medium - 5man,
hard - 8man,
very hard - 11man.

I would like to see this but there is the problem that people may farm raids to get easy drops and not kill actual bosses due to the run or PK. Making a cap to 1 or 2 raids per day would be ideal but if there is more than 1 raid do you get access to 1 of each per day or 1 of all.

Edit:

Maybe we could have an open raid cave in effect where the cave opens between a certain time lets say 8 - 10 am and 8 - 10 pm. When the cave opens people have a chance to clear each floor to progress and finally get to the boss. Obviously it will be a heavily PVP influenced cave with people competing to go to the next floor etc. There shouldn't be any shouts saying when the next floor has opened to introduce tactical gameplay like someone waiting on the next door and trying every so often - maybe make it to they get teleported to the entrance if it's not open yet when they enter. If you want to make a shout make it a cave shout rather than a global shout to stop big guilds from rushing at the last minute and stealing all of the hard work of other guilds - meaning that everyone will need to be there from the start. Considering the cave will only open twice a day (one in morning and evening to cater for all time zones) - the boss should have decentish drops.
