My gf switched my computer off at the mains as I tried to log out quickly, would this have anything to do with it?

Yes your GF killing power to your computer and not letting it exit programs or shut down in the right way will do damage to your system.

Your GF or the game.

In the case of the game, try a different account and see if that works or just delete the exe and repatch

In the case of your GF, if she is so angry at you the she pulled the plug out I would suggest you sort that issue first instead of playing mir

She has flipped her lid because a section of Team's TeamSpeak server was named "Perverts". She now thinks I'm in some kind of Legend of Mir pervert society, which I assure you I'm not.

Tried a different account, no joy. I'll try deleting the exe.

Deleting the exe didn't work. Is there a way to scan your computer for faults after an unexpected power loss?

Not sure if coincidence but my mir.exe won't launch this morning, was working fine yesterday. I double click to launch and nothing happens. Doing malware scan now just to check, but not downloaded anything since yesterday.

YOSHIMOTO, tried disabling your antivirus? AVG has been causing me issues recently and deleting the .exe when I try to run it

I think its my IObit Malware Fighter thats causing the issues.

Trying to resolve it now. :RpS_mad:

For anyone ever having similar problems, it would appear that IOBit Malware Fighter conflicts with the mir.exe

Not sure if it is IOBit preventing mir from running or sam's anti-cheat software detecting Malware Fighter??

This server doesn't like iObit in the slightest. It was a god send though iObit isnt a all that great. It cleans stuff that should never be touched.

It was the same on AceM2. Got rid of them and had no problem since.

Malwarebytes and MSE ( Microsoft security essentials windows 7 or defender on windows 8 ) are great.
