Is there a reason some people have been punished more than others?
I guess you could call it a technical/time constraint. While we could of individually worked out punishments for players this would of taken far more time to parse the data and then update each player one by one. We did debate this for a while but none of us have the time in the near term to do this. Instead we went for a one shoe fits all method. It's harsh I admit but that is the meaning of a punishment

Yeah they don't even have time to sort out Demon King drops, yet they are making thousands off this server on a weekly or monthly basis..

think ppl just want reassurance that we're all playing the same rules here...if i die and drop i want it to be under equal terms...the de lvl is a fair outcome i think that will hurt @lvl 50...forwards!

Yes ranking will update with new levels once the affected people log in and ranking updates accordingly (it's on a timer)

justice appears to have been done for the howling mob. Did they have torches and pitchforks?
Koriban appears to have plea bargained his way back(ie grassed ppl up) This should not happen. It beiber again
TKO get away with exploiting EM for 2 days get lots items n rare stuff and keep it for ever
and the cash deal ppl in Forsaken get away with screwing up the game for the rest of us once again.
In my opinion thats just another form of cheating. It means they grab the best items the rare skills no one else can even try to out bid cos its done in secrecy. Pushes the prices up for ordinary players and give them players and there are quite a few of them huge advantages gained unfairly over the rest.
but justice has to be seen to be done as long as puinishment is handed out as demanded by the mob
An aspect of democracy
Nothing will be done because the mob doesnt mind them as much as it minds people who win.

Can we expect the rest of this server to be run half arsed due to time constraint?
As previously explained our time is limited. This lets us focus on other aspects of the server instead of spending additional time on 'fairly' punishing people who exploited bugs instead of reporting them like they should of. If this isn't sufficient to you there isn't really anything else I can add to the conversation
-edit- Just to add this is likely my last post on the matter. We'll start going in circles and I'll be busy with Job and doing various server things for reboot on Sunday

You have people who buy up items and gold and skills push up the prices for everyone else. Appear from nowhere to 40+ in days. Do it all in sneaky secretive ways underhanded and devious. Your guildys offer levelling services for £$££. and you are the nice decent ppl.
You curiously enough have an avatar of one of the most unbalanced and lunatic and evil of the well known bad guys. Is your judgement to be trusted?

Many would think it potentially mild racism, alongside plain hypocrisy to constantly point the finger at one group of people for something that half the server do, including your own guild aswell.
Is bayya the TEAM numpty or is it a consolidated guild account used for inane nonsense?

As leader of Team, I can say hand on heart, I have absolutely no idea who Bayya is. I've always wonder this myself.
Understand what ur trying to say here kyler, but imo it's a bad call. Just puts the wrong message out. Bug exploit and just get a punishment not a ban. They say the cheat investigation is ongoing but lemme guess.. They r just gonna get a warning.
The gms say this is a part time hobby which I partly understand. Partly. Dont get me wrong the job u guys have done so far has been amazing it's brought a game I loved back to life.
But is this a hobby or a business? Let's say the total user count is 400 and half donate to the server so that's near 1200 never mind the ppl who buy gg, I do both so arguments sake let's call that 1600. I would guess it's more but whatever, split between the team of 4? 400 quid a month for a part time job? That's about right.
As you can guess I'm sceptical of these 'warnings' too much dmg to the overall money that is made? To me a cheat is a cheat and shud be outright banned.
I think imo this will leave a bad taste in pppls views on the server team and also looks bad for new ppl joining the server.
