First of, I think those that exploited should be 'punished' and those that were intending to exploit should also have some form of 'punishment'. However, if the Server Team had tested their work properly then we wouldn't be in this situation. Unfortunately people will exploit where possible, it's been proven already on this server with EM and the likes that people will take advantage whenever they can. Saying that, the rules clearly state anyone caught exploiting will be banned.
My £0.02 - Instead of handing out hot-headed % punishments I think the server team should have taken their time and looked into the issue properly - you can't hand out the same level of punishments to everyone. An example, if you are caught exploiting then take away the % made and more - if there is intent then take away an average from those that intended to exploit, don't hit them with the same punishment as those who benefited from it.
It's a tough one to call but I'm sure if the server team take their time and investigate properly then you can come to a fair punishment. This just looks like complete laziness and panic from the server team, sorry, but just my thoughts.
Also, by the sounds of it, looks like the previous exploits should have been handled a lot better.
I fear that this will have a very negative impact on the server and we'll soon start seeing serious consequences because of this. I know Team / TKO / Foresaken are all massive rivals but without these players the community would be non-existent. You all wind each other up about getting body drops from one another and this and that but without these players the server just wouldn't be as enjoyable. Even the casual players will suffer, how are they going to get the top end items if none of the bigger guilds are there to get them and shove them in TM? It all has knock on affects and the server team should have spent some time to think about this properly.
Temporary bans should have been handed out whilst the matter at hand was being looked into.
As for the whole situation with Koriban, this to me seems like a complete farce.
