Dark armours, Rare books etc.

Not seen a dark armour drop in 5 months or so.. also backstab, crescent slash and the warrior spell have supposedly been in drops for nearing 5 months?

100% sure they're even in most bosses dropfiles?

Also 50 weapons just simply are non-existant. 1 Fan and 1 staff dropped.

I suspect there is an issue with them.
Similar to StrongDragonRings and StrongKnightBracelets these two items have been confirmed by BH to drop with the same chance as the SC/MC equivalents from NUmas.
None have dropped since numa was launched.

There is simply something broken regarding Strong items. It would not surprise me if this issue is wider spread.

Hitting this brickwall as a warr or a sin, Taoist, archer and our target is a mirage. 'Okay next we can get a spell or lvl 50 weapon' when they simply don't exist.

I think the new books are probably only in DemonKing drop files and that drop file has only been fixed recently. The Sun pots have also been ****ed up recently meaning people can't get there.

Just linking the original to this thread. As i mentioned in the other thread i do believe that something is wrong somewhere in the drop code/files that is stopping certain items from dropping.

The rarer ones its hard to tell but strong dring/kb should 99.9999% have dropped by now and should be as common as the mc/sc ones

Sun potion delay change has done 2 things. Made certain PvE bosses harder/impossible to kill in small groups and make warriors/wizards even more stronger.

I can live with that. But end-game content is needed to keep people interested I think. That or 50 weapons adjusted heavily in stats, made rare and put back into drop files.

This is a question I have asked on many occasions, Spells are by far the most interesting thing in the game and the spells that were supposed to come into the game July(announced even before that) are still non existent.

The sun pot change was one of the worst tweaks to happen recently imo. You take a spanking, go to hammer suns to stay alive only to find you can only use one per second. If youre still in the midst of a mass fight taking a lot of agro that can easily mean instant death. So it's no wonder these 'gods' are falling - not because they were using anything they shouldn't but because all of a sudden a crucial survival tactic has been removed. Same goes for PvE - some bosses have now been made impossible unless youre in a group of 25.

My understanding is that it was removed because of rumours about an AutoHotKey macro that automatically sunnies when youre low. To my knowledge, AHK is just a macro writing program and isnt able to do things like checking memory values etc so at the very best would be able to spam suns/a certain key at the command of the user, but wouldnt be able to automatically sun/rt/tt whenever the user got low. That sort of thing would require memory checking/hacking which is an entirely different thing. I'm no expert but that's my layman's understanding of things.

AHK can use pixel detection too.

Either way theyve screwed it with the sunnys malarky. The script in question as far as I know only wrote off the annoying shift and 1 problem when It came to pvp. It wasnt a program of such that would detect hp loss or anything like that. Or auto TT as some were saying.

Sunnys need changing back badly. Server had become far too reliant on suns for them to be taken out of use after 8 or so months.

either way, lets see some concrete proof. Im all for getting cheaters stopped/punished, but the amount of cry threads/posts that are created with no proof is silly. Realistically there are few if any in the community who can conclusively prove someone is or isnt doing something, with the exception of the server team.
