Few Ideas

The server seems to be really lacking content to keep players active and wanting to play, so i think a few of these idea's might help.. also there could be a good quest line that could take place in one or more of these ideas

Dragon gate sword/ bow / blades / staff

This could be done many different ways fragments can drop from bosses/quests/mobs/event

yes this is an idea from Mir3 but i think it would suit this game very well if the images ect cant be used on this server...

could add a new cave for this content with a dragon boss that drops dragon gate fragments.. there are endless ideas you could do with this.

Chaotic heaven blade/ bow / blades/ staff

This is also another thing i pulled from Mir 3 glowing blade that you needed to craft by collecting necklace piece's (there are 4-5 parts to each necklace) to make 5 different necklaces to then craft into the chaotic heaven blade.. this is not ment to be a easy acquired wep.

This content could be easily added into (Numa) but add a cave into Numa named (Numa ruins)

Also things like group exp boost for 1 of each class in the group?

Quests for groups to do something along (fate sword quest) clear (xxxxxx) mob in (xxxxx) time with level range example (20-30 / 30-40 / 40-50 and so on..

There isn't much to do at all now on this server its honestly getting to the point were you don't need big groups of people to kill some bosses.

Also this server actually really lacks a group leveling cave, everything is way to easy where are the hard caves that give great exp.

(Example of group cave) - really hard mobs that give high exp once mob is killed it spawns another mob for each member in group things like this would be hard and worth the effort because it wouldn't be boring and plain like the rest of the server.

Just a few ideas that could help the server some people will like these ideas some would hate.. worth trying to make the server alot more fun thou.

( try keep on topic and add your own ideas )

Craftable/Questable higher level weapons has been suggested before and its still a good idea. stats would need to balance out below probable items imo

However the server team have already said they are working on:
2 new areas, lvl 45-50 and 50+
The Monk
New Sebuk System
Gauntlet (new battlegrounds style area at a guess)
Adding more subs
Numa Ruins mentioned to be coming to the game
Archer tweaks

Pretty sure they already have more content and suggestions than they can manage to finish/deliver in the foreseeable.

You are right though and many people are with you, in that boredom has kicked in and the lack of new exciting features will and is slowly driving players away.
The ones that don't sell their chars will no doubt come back for patches etc but once you break the "addiction" you never really come back.
I spose those who sell their characters can also come back, we have heard of people reclaiming characters that were sold after all.

You forgot to mention that each of the necklaces have unique abilities:

e.g.
ChaosNecklace (+15-30% magic damage) (Has higher MC)
LifeNecklace (Lifestealing ability and small critical hit chance increase) (Had higher SC and lower DC)
BloodSpashNecklace (Chance to green poison monster on hit - procs a lot) (Has higher DC)
BlueSkyNecklace (Increase critical hit chance / damage - more than life) (had no stats but would be ideal to add DC)

All these necklace's have purpose for all classes - obviously they get to pick which is more beneficial to their class:

Warriors - BloodSplash & Life
Archers - BlueSky
Wizard - ChaosNeck
Tao - Life
Assassin - Life

Im sure there was only 4? Can't remember but if there was a fifth it would fit in wit the 5 classes. In theory when you craft a CHB all of the abilities of the necklaces are forged into the weapon. I don't think it ever had life steal abilities or magic damage increase - the crit made up for no magic damage increase/

I had an idea as well actually.

I was thinking about a high level cave, with an End-Game type boss - similar to Hell, but perhaps with **** all exp and serious drops (new kit for 50-55 or something)

I thought you could combine it with making an already ingame boss/area more used, make it so EvilMir acts like GateKeeper - once it's dead you can enter the cave behind where it spawns (take out tele points behind it, ShS spots etc)

Remove Lightning or Molten - make the one you leave behind full of mobs, but take flinch out. Thus you have to kill through it, to have enough pots to do 1-6 on EM - have an NPC inside the next set of caves (like in Euro OmaCave) that sells pots etc - but at a very high price - so people can repot, but it's expensive, then have the next few floors busy, but mobs don't drop pots (odd item/spell) and give low exp for the intended level (similar to Orcs) - then make the boss a potentially great dropper, but hard to kill, like a 6th stage EM - but in a small room, so can't just stand back and res - make it a stone breakable/kit droppable room too.

Doors that you can't walk back through. No logging, no RT's, no recall.

Make it a challenge.

Just an idea, would need loads of tweaking and perfecting, was just writing it whilst it was in my head.

Prepares for the flames :P

I personally think the server team needs to improve how they deal with their customers before introducing more content. How they have recently dealt with certain players really stinks.

i think the "customers" need to take a long look at how they exploit/cheat/scam/sell and abuse the server and hard work thats gone into making it.......all those types aside there are still plenty of legit players and it seems plenty of new ones. So if your selling up and shipping out... byeeeeeeee.. (dont pay extortionate prices to these monkeys let thier scammed pixels rot)all will come to those that wait and just play/have fun.

I think you will find that a lot of people were punished in the last batch who hadn't even performed any exploit. The server chose to do a blanket punishment on a set number of people. Not only was this poorly handled, but it forced the hand of many decent/genuine people to either quit or sell up. Some of these people were putting a fair amount of £££ into the servers pockets, which I don't think the server considered when de-levelling people. Lets be realistic here, this game has a set community and very rarely attracts nee people who havent played mir before. You would expect the server Team to realise this. They took the high ground, de-levelled various people, missed some people out and mafe exceptions for banned players who had done multiple exploits. I was unfairly banned due to a difference of opinion with the server team, but how the whole affair was handled was poor.
P.S - Wasn't you asking to buy a new character a few months back on this forum anyway?

Imo the problem is the GM's.

There is currently 3 gms.. adding 1 cave shouldn't take 3 men to long...add map, mobs , set offence/defence& hp, test it and set drops then release...

They are working on bugs and stuff apparently , but fact is sometimes you gotta move new content to the forefront.

And "sometime" was months ago .

(Most) TKO quit months ago , came back to no updates.. played for 2 months, got bored doing the same crap and have now left again.

The playtime stacked up in a month for most of TKO Probably translates to 3 months for the average player though, so it's no surprise some of us burn out (no lifers, myself the main culprit).

I think what's missing is communication and actually telling the truth. Honestly how can you say stuff is in the drops and shut down players requests with that response when it turns out half a year later they aren't and never were.

nope think u will find that was hocuspocus....a troll of my name or someone who unfortunatley chose near the same w/e

in relation to new content, that has been slow to come through i agree...but that does not give the open door to abuse what is already there. In comparison to another server i played ,and this Gm was also not 24/7..he produced updates and additional content 2 nd to none....unfortunatley the server was plaqued with cheats and corruption,(like at the beginning of this 1)which he turned a blind eye to....it must be time consuming taking care of those aspects and negates the time allowed to work on new stuff.I personally trust the GMs here up till now, they TRY to protect thier server from abuse and will eventually come up with new stuff im sure.
