I never knew the guy.. but you cant rule out the fact that players had GM access for years without anyone knowing.. I had GM credentials when the source files was first leaked....

The biggest issues with mass mobs on crystal is actually the re-spawn routine - in how it looks for a valid slot to spawn. When 10k's of mobs are being killed by alot of players and constantly RS'ing it can cause the main loop to hang while it brute-forces valid re spawn locations.

Fair enough, they are a little different on here for starters they don't partake in PVP.
We may also restrict what maps they can be used on and maybe even allow heroes to pvp on certain maps.. Time will tell ;D
We do not want heroes to replace proper social/team play.

We have already put into place spawn masks, so the server wont try and brute force random valid cells to spawn in, it will simply pick one randomly from a list, so no CPU cycles wasted there!
Saving/Logging has been fully rebuilt and is fully asyncronous, it will not...
I remember on euro for years I was told Holy was the equivalent to luck against the undead lol.
But i believe it's the same as above even in the official sources just a flat + damage 1:1 increase on melee. Probably more useful to a warrior/sin lol
I used to save some of my dinner money and pay for euro using my splash plastic when I was 13 years old which was like £7/8.
I think if people have just enough to 'enjoy' your server to get the hooked, they'll pay. (Please make the free period > level 7 ;D )
