Request Save entire map as image file bmp

That minimap code would need to be rolled into a single code block, with four different scaling factors used, depending on the menu choice you made. But I can't say I like some half assed trickling of code pieces into the GH editor. There is enough confusion as it is. The original code was put...

Request Save entire map as image file bmp

Is that what that recent Daimian's contribution was about? I didn't look at it yet. So what you are saying, the editor on GH is not x64 but something done to it makes it utilize RAM above that 4GB limit? But it is not quite the same as if the program was x64 kind? I am just 'informed amateur'...

Request Save entire map as image file bmp

Mind you, the map editor can have animations on both the front and middle layers although all animation on existing mir2 maps is on the front layer. But the editor can also edit mir3 maps and those all have animations on middle layer. I have also added a toggle in my editor to switch animation...

Request Save entire map as image file bmp

Is that a code that could be put into the map editor or maybe you did add this code to the editor for this example? It looks like you are missing ground back tiles and the image is overall messed up but it is good start nonetheless . If you've seen the current editor code, you will know...

Request Save entire map as image file bmp

That looks pretty good, I'd say, even better than the original (y) Would you get the same uniform result across the image if you did it on individual tiles, one by one? Because if so, that would be less work than doing it on the map image and then having to cut it up, assemble... Could...

Request Save entire map as image file bmp

I think the idea is to save the map in full size as an image (the first step anyway). The image could be processed in some program and then cut into tiles to be used as a game map again (leaving aside the question of 'flat map' and all that). Map editor can't save real map size (as you see it...

Is anyone interested in SDO's Mir2?

That map reminds of the one from the Fables map pack shown here, at least the cliffs are the same kind but not quite the same.

Snake Valley map not in 'n' version?

I see this as a crossroads map, like if you want to have longer travel and connections among several maps. It strikes me as a mir3 map because that's just what mir3 is like, more role playing, real travel around maps, at least before you can use teleports. I recall now, I did play on this map...

Snake Valley map not in 'n' version?

Yes, those n maps use ShandaMir2 libraries. The tiles for n issue of SV would be in SM2 libraries since there is nothing special about SV map, apart maybe from the mine entrance, otherwise it would be just using cliffs and ground tiles and trees that are used on those other n issue maps. That...

Snake Valley map not in 'n' version?

Is there new Shanda tiles Snake Valley map? The one belonging to the n0 n1 n2 etc map set? I don't have it and don't recall ever seeing that one in the new 'n' map edition.

    Help Looking for a Map

You're right, I just took the map I fished out on my computer, it is from Wild Dragon server, and found another one with the original Ginko on it and copied the village over to that Wild Dragon server map. Just flexed my mapping muscle on doing the job myself and as I see now from your 2017...

    Help Looking for a Map

You forgot about this one. Ginko village added back would be the map with the burned out patches and Ginko village, right? Is this the one? Or maybe it should be the old style with buildings? If the old style, you could get my map editor and cut your teeth with it, copying the village to...

    Help Looking for a Map

Get the map editor from the Resources link above here. Put the editor files into your mir2 client (where mir.exe is) and you can open maps from any location on your computer to search for those you want, you just need to download them, probably mirfiles has old maps? But there it seems you need...

    Help Looking for a Map

Massive tree... wasn't that the map some server(s) used as a starting out map? It also had a waterfall in North West corner and was surrounded by water on two or three sides, North side was probably cliffs. BTW if you use map editor, you can easily make minimaps for any maps you can open in it.

    Help Transferring server

Its self contained, portable. simply copy it to laptop as Jev says. Rar or zip it up for the transfer via some USB medium, it compresses quite a bit.

Request Best Mir 2 and 3 server for beginners?

Since the OP looks for 'beginner's server, mir2 & 3, I assume he wants a mir that is simple to play, without the many new features some servers have. IMO that disqualifies mir3 because of its air/fire/earth etc elements that you can and need to add to your items. Mir2 is still with us because...
